Best WLM Reviews
We are from out of town and looking for a good burger place. Something like Red Robin. This is definitely the place. The burger was so good! Actually, it's better than red Robin's.
Only thing I would say is add a little seasoning to the French fries, and make them bottomless, this would make me choose Bob's over Red Robin every time!
Oh yeah, fried pickle spears are amazing!
A burger joint similar to that of Red Robin, but we prefer the latter. Food was good. Service was so-so and the atmosphere was lacking, in that it was crowded and too congested and small of an area for as many people were present.
Certainly not a bad place to go. Nachos were pretty good, but they charged quite a bit extra for a small amount of guacamole and that should automatically be included on Nachos. A little bit of corporate greed that just isn't necessarily and contributes to the mediocre rating.
Apparently a local chain and reminded me of Red Robin or a BJ’s in terms of large high ceiling space.
Food was just so so. We weren’t in the mood for a burger so should’ve tried that. The onion rings were overly greasy and disappointing.
I did need to reply to the management reply because I found the comments to be dismissive. As I mentioned, no one checked on me until I was well into the meal. I don't blame the server, I think he was trying to cover too much at the time, I tipped him well for his efforts. So the comment of "a kind mention to any of our servers" was dismissive. If the steak had been cooked properly in the first place, we wouldn't be here talking.
The tots were not a happy medium, they were overcooked, all flavor was fried out. There's a difference between crispy and crunchy. Tot aren't supposed to be crunchy. They were not done properly. Shrimp: I know shrimp. This was not "restaurant quality". The reality is for this much money, I shouldn't even be here commenting in detail about the mediocrity of the food.
Now my original review.
I've been to Bob's three times and been underwhelmed consistently. Not terrible, mind you. Just...underwhelming. And for the cost, disappointing.
This visit I spent almost $50 for a 10 oz NY Prime steak, three jumbo prawns and overcooked tots.
The steak was just barely ok. I requested medium rare and got medium. Almost medium well. Still the steak was juicy, if a bit bland. Just overcooked. I sat and mostly mourned over the lost opportunity!
The prawns were definitely large but just as definitely not jumbo. And they tasted suspiciously like something I've got from Costco frozen section. Definitely frozen, not fresh, chewy and little flavor. Probably microwaved.
The tots were just not edible because they were overcooked as well. Hard to tell in the picture but trust me. See those crispy bits? That not the yummy kind of crispy that I like so much.
The Pepsi was good. Service was ok but a bit slow to check on me so I didn't get to tell them about the problems until the food was getting cold.
So, there is something to say about consistency. Even if it's consistent mediocrity. For $50 for one person, I'd expect a lot more even with overpriced restaurant prices today.
This is the first time I was limited on my stay in a restaurant. They made it clear they wanted us out in 1 hr and fifteen minutes. They had a big group coming in. The service was good the food was good but they kept on hinting for us to leave. In a way I understand for the big group. They get more money from a large group of 25 than a group of 6. Times have changed.
First time there .. came with a group and it was very good food ????
Our waitress was Awesome !!
Recommend it to you all ????
One of the best chivitos I ever had. Even the salad was delicious, plus fast and friendly service
Went out for a late Mother's day dinner with my sons tonight. Menu was a lot more than I expected, great variety. Jason made the experience an absolute delight for all 3 of us! He was super attentive and made sure no one went thirty while enjoying our meals. He payed close attention to my youngest son's special needs and went above and beyond making sure his dessert was "perfect"! The food was delicious and plentiful with reasonable prices. Rosy the Robot was my kiddo's favorite experience. For my oldest son and myself...Jason made our experience a blessing and we will definitely be back and asking to be seated in this wonderful young man's section!!!
