I'm a fan of Bob's based upon their friendly and thorough service. And that's despite them failing my inspection once in the past! Another time, I had a rear license plate light that was out. They said that they might have a replacement bulb around and offered to replace it for me. They encountered a little more than they had planned on when changing it because of some rust in the fixture... we'll 20 frustrating minutes later it was in, and my car passed inspection. The charge is $35 for the inspection and $2 for the bulb! I gave him a $10 tip since he could have just failed the car and let me run around to find and replace the bulb on my own, so it was very much appreciated! Simple and straightforward line up to get inspected and friendly service.

Changing review. My car failed for a bad front end. I initially rated poorly because a mechanic told me the front end was fine. The mechanic then rechecked the front end like they check them during an inspection, with a floor jack, and saw that it was loose. So, inspection was correct.
Just got my truck inspected there today. Nicest guys you ever want to meet!

I had a less than positive experience after my first encounter at Bob’s, and I had contemplated coming back to get my sticker on my car once the issue it was failed for had been fixed.
I decided to go, seeing as at that point all they had to do was recognize I had fixed the issue.
This time I was greeted by someone when I arrived. Then the current shop owner or manager, came over and introduced himself and identified me from my review. He apologized and established that they were sorry to hear I had a bad encounter at their shop.
I can respect how they handled the situation and they put a sticker on my car very quickly. Thanks for leaving this on a good note
Friendly, quick and efficient, even when there is a line they move through customers quickly. Great place for inspections, I won't go anywhere else.
The best and only place to go to get your car inspected … in my opinion!
