Wasn't happy at all. Our waiter was not good at all. It took forever to get our food. When we did one of the meals did not come out it took another 20 minutes to get that one. So the rest of my party was done eating. And my sandwich was cold and my fries were just warm. My friend ordered banana bread and didn't get it. When I went to pay I told them and they acted like they didn't care.
My wife and I enjoy the Classic Breakfast. For lunch we usually have soup and salad. It was very good. (However; we really wish that the chili soup was on the menu). Our server was very friendly.
Friend ordered pot roast. Server was terrible. Never brought rolls until we got ready to leave. 2 of us ate while waiting for friends food. She got meat and gravy. Pot roast comes with carrots and onions. Shows and says it in menu. Waiter says no extra. So I asked for manager. She said she was going to take care of it and talk to employee, but she also didn't know the menu cause she said it comes with carrots but don't think onions. As a waiter and manager you should know the menu. Reason for us not to return.
If I go out for breakfast where I live I always go to our local Bob Evans because I know I'm going to get good food and good service at a fair price.
Caramel Apple Pancakes are not something that would have caught my attention because dishes like that are over my sweet line early in the day. I like fruit and whipped cream pancake dishes but more for brunch than very early.
This day however I experienced a full-on sensory assault by Caramel Apple Pancakes as soon as I got out of my truck. There was a sign with a photo of Caramel Apple Pancakes on the building. More images and descriptions of the dish in the waiting area. I passed a server with 2 plates of Caramel Apple Pancakes en route to waiting patrons. I passed tables with Caramel Apple Pancakes being enjoyed by folks who had ordered them. Caramel Apple Pancakes were calling my name.
Caramel Apple Pancakes at Bob Evans have changed my mind about having a sweet meal like this early in the day. They were sweet but not too sweet. They had just the right amount of caramel dribbles, cooked apples, and whipped cream. The pancakes of course were good as always but I will be going back sooner than normal to order this dish again.
The photo says it better than my words and rightfully so.
The service was great as always as well as the cleanliness of the restaurant. I recommend Caramel Apple Pancakes if you want a fantastic meal anytime of the day.
I ordered Deep dish chicken noodle dinner and it was VERY small, had maybe five noodles and a half scoop of potatoes. I also ordered grilled chicken sandwich with bacon made crispy, the bacon was barely cooked, I had to put in microwave to finish cooking. Very dissatisfied considering I paid $30.00 for this meal.
I love the chicken noodle soup except one thing..there was entirely too much pepper in it..I get it when I'm sick so I do t have to make it bit the bowl I got last night was way too hot from black pepper..in the bottom of the bowl there was a huge pile of black pepper left after I drank the juice...
Probably the slowest bob evans I have e been to. We were in there for a little more than an hour. Food was okay, sauasge was cold and eggs weren’t that good. The server was very nice though! Even though it wasn’t her fault the food was slow she still got us and a few other tables some bread to hold us over.
Well first of all the staff isn't friendly at all. The waiter seemed like he didn't want anything to do with me. My eggs had absolutely 0 seasoning, hashbrowns were burnt, and the pancakes didn't have any butter and tasted off. My caramel mocha was the only good thing. It took forever to cash out and they were having issues cashing people out. Overall very standoffish employees. I won't be returning for awhile.
