Best WLM Reviews

The food was good, they were out of several different salad dressings. The waitress was friendly enough but wasn't real attentive. And after we got our bill and started to get up to leave, we told her, thanks, have a good day, to which she proceeded to tell us that her day couldn't get any worse. We were in the last booth toward the tables at the windows and she pointed to the floor at the corner of our booth toward the tables and said that earlier that day, someone had gotten up and pooped down their pant leg (yes, to our surprise, she literally said that to us as customers) and said that she had to clean it up. She said she shouldn't have to clean poop off the floor but that she did. Thank goodness we were done eating! We couldn’t believe that she told us that! I work in management and I can't imagine one of my employees saying something like that to a client! Very unprofessional to say the least! I didnt get her name, but she had blonde hair (but i don't think she was the only blonde working that day) and we were there this past Saturday afternoon, 5/18/24. I don't want anyone to lose their job but I think they need told what not to say to customers that would reflect bad on the business.
Bless our waitress heart . My friend wanted to talk to the manager and our waitress was scared we were going to complain. He came over and she gave the waitress an awesome thank you and she did an awesome job. It's messed up that people complain at the drop of a hat , but to tell someone thank you and she did a great job . A little kindness and appreciation goes a long way . Next time I pray , someone wants to thank someone. Fear isn't the first thing they think of . Positive vibes and caring are free. Make someones day don't break it . Thank you Prayers and love ????
This morning me and my girlfriend got a takeout order. When I got the food, I made the terrible mistake of not checking the food before leaving the establishment. Our meals were mixed into different containers, I was missing my order of bacon, and when checking the other items, there was approximately a third of the order of hash browns compared to the other dish we ordered. We both work in the food industry and completely understand how things work, but how the expo saw the dish and bagged it up, and served us our order is completely unacceptable. Went back to get our missing items, and was given my missing bacon, and raw hash-browns, that we had to cook ourselves. I did not ask for a refund, never again will I pay for raw, and missing food, ever again from this establishment. Do better management..
I am a regular at this Bob Evans usually at least once a week my wife and I visit. I visited this store on the morning of 1/13/24 with my wife and another couple. To be honest the service and the food were all great as usual. My wife went up to pay our bill while I sat at the table and talked with the other couple we met for breakfast. She came back and we visited for a couple minutes until everyone decided we were ready to leave. So we walked up with the other couple and waited while they paid their bill. We left and were followed out the door by an individual who I'm assuming was a manager, I never caught his name. Who accused us of not paying for our meal saying that the other couple only paid for 1 ticket for 2 people. So I immediately turned and walked back in the store to show our receipt and explain that my wife had paid 5 minutes before the couple we walked out with. He walked over to the computer and said "oh he didn't close out the ticket, my mistake" and while I was trying to stop him to talk to him he walked away from us and disappeared into the back. You could say that "my mistake" was a very poor excuse for an apology (which we never received and actual apology) and were quickly disregarded as soon as he realized he was wrong. I'm not trying to make a bigger deal of this than it is but I am not a thief and do not take lightly to being accused of stealing. Never received an apology and were ignored when trying to get his attention. This is unfortunate because again, I frequent this restaurant and really enjoy the food and the servers. After this experience I am determined I will never visit this location again. I do not appreciate being accused of stealing and then not even receive an apology. I have never been treated in a restaurant quite like I was this morning. We will find another place to spend our money.
I was not super impressed with my breakfast this morning at this location. The wait time for a table was much longer than expected and they seemed terribly understaffed. The one girl working the tables (that I could tell) was stretched pretty thin, but also maybe wasn't good under pressure. She seated everyone as soon as I think she may have been able, though there were plenty of empty tables and booths all over the restaurant. It seems like some of the other servers could've helped with seating, but what do I know?
I ordered a coffee and a water. The coffee was exactly fine. A little water for my tastes, but good enough. Then we put in our food orders. I ordered the biscuit value meal that's supposed to be an open biscuit with gravy, shredded sausage, cheddar, and an egg on it. With home fries. When it came out it was lukewarm at best, but after waiting 20 minutes after ordering for it, I ate it anyway. I've had worse, but I'd like to get my food warm maybe? The potatoes were cold towards the middles and my biscuit was definitively cool at the edges. Like I said, I ate it anyways because I was hungry and on a time crunch. But gees.
I noticed halfway through my quick meal (most of the potatoes were inedible) that the cutlery were super overused and kind of icky from being washed so much. I assume it was drying spots, because that happens...but maybe it's time for an upgrade?
Eh. All in all it wasn't really worth the $9 I paid, but it also wasn't NOT worth it? I'm not sure what I'm expecting. I get food service as an industry, and it's really tough, but I also get wanting to get in and get out with a good meal when you're on the road (which I am). There just could've been a middle ground here I think. It was a bummer for sure.
Good food, farm house atmosphere , friendly staff, and new options on the menu every time I visit, which I am grateful for, but if you decide to try the dang that's hot fried chicken just be warned it is really dang hot, maybe get the sauce on the side until you've tried it.
Buttery goodness! Restrooms could use a little more love but this place does a ton of traffic so I can't complain much.
The steakhouse burger was delicious but wasn't really the best value at $10.19 for the size you get (smaller than Burger King).
Still giving them 5 stars for the excellent service.
This restaurant is nice! Friendly staff. Good food. Homey atmosphere.
