Best WLM Reviews
I always get the country fried steak, mash pot. Country gravy, green beans and a roll. With a large chocolate milk. Every once in awhile I'll get the sausage and biscuit gravy with a side of crisp bacon. The atmosphere is pleasant. The waitress always helpful. Will always be one of my favorite restaurants. Plus I worked there 30 yrs ago. When I was a much younger woman. They have been in our community for a long time. Recommended for friends and family to eat and visit. This occasion I had the eggs bacon, hash browns, crisp bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits chocolate milk. With my Granddaughter Alaina.
My wife and I enjoyed the food. Delicious.
It had been quite a while since we ate at Bob Evans. We were in the mood for breakfast. I had a big bowl of oatmeal with a shareable plate of 5 pieces of bacon. My husband had biscuits and gravy and a double order of hash browns. The oatmeal was not steaming hot like it should be but I made it work. Coffee was good and hot and our server kept it topped off. A bit expensive for 2 people on fixed incomes.
It seemed to me that the waitress was overwhelmed with a lot of tables. Didn't really see her much. Got appetizers the time as food. But food was good.
I had the Dang Hot Chicken tonight. The breaded chicken fillets were extremely chewy and difficult to cut. No customer could ever be happy with such ill-prepared fillets. Disappointment -- to the max! UPDATE 7/28/2023: A second attempt at the Dang Hot Chicken Dinner, and the verdict is -- still awful. It's pretty obvious they're dropping already-cooked fillets back into the deep fryer (to heat them). Yes, that heats them. But it also results in overcooking; and produces a dark, over-fried fillet and tough texture. Check out my pix. You can see visually how ugly they are.
I came here with my bf, where we had to wait 10 minutes to even be seated and another 10 to be asked what we wanted to drink. The only woman who helped us, was black. She apparently was the only one who saw us still standing at the front, where another white couple was helped immediately. Our orders were wrong and forgotten about multiple times. Our server didn’t check on us, so we had to keep waiting to tell her things were wrong. We didn’t eat any of our food, and ended up leaving. Entire establishment seemed unwelcoming and racist.
They were out of fried chicken, and they were out of pot roast. So, nomy third time, I ordered steak tips. The steak tips were good.
The best part about it was kids eat free on Tuesday night. I get breakfast for dinner there because that seems to be the least inedible food, on their menu. Literally every other dinner meal I've had there, was a train wreck
