We've never eaten here, so I cannot attest to the food.
We love the atmosphere. Especially on Friday nights when we rock out with Airavata. Bar tenders are very attentive, especially the bar around the back of the boathouse.
We love the little convenience store across from the Boathouse when it's open. This is our Friday go-to spot!
We wanted a chill vibe, away from the bar on a kinda late evening and found it here. Outside on the deck, water view, pelicans in flight, savoring the BBQ shrimp and cocktails. Waiting on the Shell Shocker oysters and Cajun Shrimp Pasta. 10/10 for the overall experience. My husband found a debit card on the deck at 8:30pm - handed it to the server. Hope Allen remembers the path of his day!
The vibes were t that great, it was the same day as Jimmy Buffets death though which for myself was very sad. The view and atmosphere was absolutely amazing though. I would gladly go back.
The boathouse is a unique place with its own charm. Lots of dollar bill all over the restaurant. Definitely a great place to hang. And the shrimp apps was the best ever
I went to Saved by the Bell Brunch, my friends breakfast burgers looked amazing (brunch special). Very little to no vegetarian options, especially since I'm allergic to egg. I ended up ordering appetizer nachos for my meal which were decent but I would've loved beans. Was just lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes with small cup of sour cream and salsa. I had a great time with my friends and I liked the bloody Mary I got (not strong which was good with me)
Not bad food. Nice waitress and nice ambiance. Crab legs were very good
IF I COULD GIVE LESS THAN 1 STAR I WOULD! I have never received worse service than I did at the boathouse. My fiancee and i attended on a saturday night early may- not even busy season yet. We ordered together AT THE SAME TIME at the bar. The bar had the only spots available in this god forsaken place. My oysters came out in maybe 20 mins, and they forgot the chips and salsa we had ordered as a starter. We then waited almost an hour for my fiancées oysters. I had been done for a long time- even finishing up the chips before he got his. We asked twice and were told oh it’s coming. His were not that much different from the grilled oysters i ordered. absolutely no excuse for it to take that long after i had gotten mine. they were serving other people before him! even tho we ordered TOGETHER at the same time! Then, a day later we check our credit card and they ILLEGALLY changed our tip to read as $54 and not $5.40. They shouldn’t have gotten a tip AT ALL!!!!!! absolute butt crack of a place i would absolutely not recommend anyone go here. go to AJ’s just down the road instead!
Came for lunch and the service was great. My wife had the shrimp tacos and my son and I each had a bowl of gumbo and the chargrilled oysters. I was searching the whole area looking for some good oysters and these were the best I have had anywhere with the exception of few places in New Orleans. Coming to this restaurant is a must if you are visiting or if you live here!
