Best WLM Reviews

If you ever have an appetite for those delicious fried seafood meals, this is your place. Had the fried clams basket and it was outstanding. The clam chowder might be the best I've ever had. Love this place.
We were simply looking for a spot to get out of the rain.
Wow! What an awesome little great place we found. Boardwalk Fich and Chips was an absolute homerun. The Halibut fish and chips were absolutely perfect. In my opinion, it is perfectly equal to the chowder. Did I mention that the chowder was amazing?
When you visit the spit, run on over to BF&C because they fill up fast.
Seaside fish and chips done well. The chowder was also very good. Service was really quick and the portions were plenty for one person.
Strolling through Homer while on a food tour, and made a visit to Boardwalk Fish & Chips to see if they could excel with the combo.
We got greeted by a super friendly employee, she gave us good suggestions since we were newbies to Homer but we obviously already knew what we wanted (Fish and Chips lol).
And what are my thoughts on it? It was good! Although, the crisp level on the fish was just in the middle. Not soggy, not perfectly crispy, just in the middle. Which is still good! Their waffle fries on the side were delicious and seasoned well!
Overall, this is a good spot in Homer to hit up. We came back in June 2022 so obviously they’re currently closed right now. They’ll reopen soon hopefully!
During an overnight stay here in Homer I really wanted Halibut (Halibut capital of the world!) We walked around and checked out several restaurants menus including a very popular place just a few doors down that encouraged reservations and told us it would be a 30 minute wait for a table. We walked out and decided on Boardwalk Fish and Chips. As you can see by my 5 star review we loved it. The halibut was moist not dry and was not overly coated with breading. And what it was breaded with was delicious. So was the house made tarter sauce and coleslaw. I highly recommend eating here. Do be aware that you order before you sit down, and they serve on paper boats. Not a fancy sit down with a server place but very worth it. You can't beat the views either, see my pics!
Halibut was nice. The batter needed a bit more seasoning and the fries were warm not hot. The waiters yell your name to find you if your dine inside or take out. Near the soda stand they have a faucet so you can wash your hands.
The salmon burger is not as good as we thought it was. When we were there, the place ran out of the breadbowl so we couldn't order the clam chowder in a bread bowl. They give a generous portion for the cod fish and chip order. Free water, on the other hand, is in a tiny cup that you need to probably refill several time during a meal.
This restaurant has the best fish and chips! Fresh caught halibut in the halibut fishing capital of the world! Boardwalk is much friendlier and better priced than other nearby restaurants and the owner greeting us personally really made us feel welcome. Be warned, this place closes at 5 (Maybe temporarily due to covid), so plan accordingly.
