Best WLM Reviews
I got the brisket plate with smoked Mac and sweet potato casserole for $14.99. The brisket was a bit dry and not very tender, but the flavor was good and their sweet bbq sauce went nicely with the meat.
The previous time that I was here I had the chopped chicken and is was pretty good. I'd say give it a try if you're in town but don't expect the best bbq of your life.
P.s. I'm not trying to be mean by critiquing this establishment. I sincerely hope they continue doing well and since they're the only game for bbq it's likely that I'll be a returning customer.
Came here while traveling for work and the place was empty because we came in after the lunch rush, but my God the food was delicious.
The smoked mac and cheese had a good flavor, the pulled pork was salty and melt in your mouth, and the three different sauces were all great.
Service was super friendly and the food was out in no time at all.
Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!
I love trying all BBQ places, Bo Dougie's was up on the list to try. I got brisket, ribs, Mac, potato salad, and then some wings to try. I felt the brisket was the best out of what I had. It was tender and had good flavor. The ribs were definitely spare ribs and the chicken wings were slightly smoked then fried. The sides were ok but needed more depth. The ribs were on a heavy smoke side but also good. The three sauces offered a more vinegar taste as well. Overall, I would go back and skip some of the standard Fort Wayne BBQ spots without naming.
Even though we arrived at the end of the day, there was still plenty of food for us! Sometimes that's an issue with BBQ places, but not here. Outdoor seating is pet friendly, food is AMAZING! And portions are spot on. I only wish the sids were larger because they are so good. Definitely a spot to stop at.
Food was superb . Meat was tender And sides were amazing also.
I have food allergies; I am a nuisance when it comes to asking about ingredients/ seasonings (I own that). The guy taking my order was very cool about my questions and knew the answers. My brisket was flavorful and tender. The coleslaw was good, too!
The reviews did not lie, this place is fantastic! Was very happy to find Bo Doogie's off the highway. Was about a million times better than my usual grab n go meal - Burnt Ends were phenomenal!
I had the brisket and burnt ends with mac n cheese and cornbread muffin. I was so full after. That was a lot of food. Even for someone who loves a lot of food. The next time I went I had just the brisket and mac n cheese with a cornbread muffin. Delicious
