Best WLM Reviews
Definitely an Eclectic restaurant. A cross between folksy and hip.
I can't recommend the staff highly enough. The waiter overheard us talking about splitting our food so we could sample what each other was ordering. The chef then prepared individual plates for each of us.
There is an outdoor dining area for warm days.
Note that the new address is the corner of West King Street and Fort Street in strasburg.
Fresh, fun, and flavorful! Blue Wing Frog did not disappoint. The shrimp tacos were outstanding with a creative flair. The burger was delicious and came from a nearby ranch from mash and grass-fed beef. The fried potatoes that came with the burger were so scrumptious! The owners were warm, friendly, and working hard to create a wonderful dining experience. The building and the 2 dining rooms inside are totally accessible and very clean. Parking is on the street with a small parking lot alongside the building. Food is seasonal, so the menu changes. Prices were consistent with the great quality of food. Highly recommend this new Strasburg restaurant.
We dined outside due to being such a nice day out. We had amazing service with the owners talking to us and we had a great conversation about the restaurant and history. We could feel the passion in them! They really love what they do and love serving the community amazing fresh homemade bread included food. We had the burger with homemade brioche bun and sun dried mayo and homemade ketchup with garlic roasted potatoes.
Also LOVED the raspberry chocolate cake. The icing was too good.
We tried a sample size shrimp and fell in love. You can taste how much they care ❤️
Thank you for serving us!
Loved this new restaurant in Strasburg, delicious food that had a homemade taste. The owner was very nice and came out to greet us. They have remodeled the dining room, it looks very elegant. Highly recommend.
What a gem! Had the burger and it was sublime. Homemade everything, even the catsup. Totally came through that everything was made with love. Really nice people too!
We can be a picky family with different tastes and we stopped in here because of me and my likes. My hubs and kid ended up really enjoying it also. Like really enjoying. :) Very impressed. We’ll definitely be back. The only complaint- which isn’t really a complaint - its an old building, it can be a bit chilly on a cold day depending on where you may be seated.
Very nice little spot with food mostly from various places across america, but also some nice selections from overseas. (And all homemade too, down to the bread and ketchup)
Only real downside is that it can get a bit chilly considering how old the building is.
Do reccomend!
We enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere was good. Our waiter was very nice and very witty (I enjoyed his humor). Food was pricey, but portions fit the amount. I had the shrimp tacos for my meal. They provided way more shrimp then I was able pack into my tortilla shell, so I ended up just eating them with a fork (not a bad thing). My wife had the shrimp po-boy, huge portion of shrimp and a large amount of lettuce (almost too much). We had shrimp for our appetizer. They were good but the for the price seemed a bit too much didn't blow my socks off. We left with a tart that was very good (a must try).
