This place has the best cheesesteaks in lake county! The bread was fresh and the sandwiches itself is huge and filled with lots of flavor! Me and my wife spilt a whole one and I can barely finish my half that’s how big it is! The customer service could have been better though, we came in at 7pm and the girl acted offended that we came in at that time, other than that, great experience and will be back!
I went in today for lunch to grab my husband and myself something I had the regular Italian and my husband had the large original Philly cheesesteak. The service was amazing. And the subs were outstanding, so tasty and perfectly seasoned. So filling. The bread was soft. Just amazing all around. A must try. I’m going back.
This is a cute place tucked away in a strip mall with indoor seating and plenty of free parking.
The meatball sub was our favorite meal for today. It is hard to find a good meatball sub that offers a good meat/bread ratio and isn't flavorless. The sandwich came with a mildly chunky tomato sauce and provolone cheese. No complaints here.
My husband tried the cheese steak as it comes with cheese wiz. He felt it would have been much more enjoyable with a normal cheese, as the cheesewiz made the meal too salty for his taste.
The portions are large, I couldn't even imagine trying to eat a full (large) sandwich!
Great flavor in the steak and good ratio of nicely melted cheese. However, the portion of filling to bread was disappointing. There are lots of sub options to explore, only not sweet side is chips for $2.50.
I was greeted with a smile by friendly staff within five seconds of entering. I ordered the Italian sub and requested spicy salami in lieu of regular salami, which they were more than happy to do. The meat was sliced fresh and piled high. The staff was very accommodating when I requested my toppings and condiments on the side. A very positive first experience. Excellent.
My husband's Italian was so big he could barely get it in his mouth. My Philly was very good. One of the employees suggested spicy sauce ???? it was yummy. Prices were great especially for the serving sizes!!
My husband and I ate at Blue Sky subs tonight, we got the spicy Italian, it was great, we split one sub and it was perfect. Plenty of meat.
The cheesestakes were amazing! Bread was the perfect texture, meat had a great seasoning, just the right amount of cheese and topping. Absolute perfection! Staff were friendly and helpful with questions and we got our order in a very timely manner. Overall it was a 5 star experience and will become our new go to when we want a good sandwich
