The best in the city. The atmosphere was everything. Customer service was exceptional. Large food portions we had to take our entree to go. Bar has plenty to choose from. Highly recommend ????

INSIDE: really cute decor, nice vibes and they have a bar.
SERVICE: the service was excellent. We were welcomed in and promptly seated. Our server went over the menu and gave us recommendations. She also asked if we had any food allergies or restrictions and checked up on us often.
FOOD: Disappointing. The first time I visit any Thai restaurant I order the same 2 dishes (pad kee mao and green curry) to be able to compare fairly compare. The pad kee mao had an overwhelming lemongrass flavor that overpowered the whole dish. I was also not a fan of the choice of veggies used in the dish. Most frequently I’ve seen bell peppers/onions/ thai basil and sometimes gai lan or carrots. This one had no onion and had baby corn and green beans instead. I understand everyone has their own recipe but this was my least favorite one among the ones I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a lot in both the US and Thailand). The curry was okay, nothing special.
Overall, I think there’s better Thai options that offer a better value.
All of the food was excellent except the pad Thai. The desserts were all excellent. The atmosphere is wonderful. It took quite a long time for our food and our waiter disappeared to make drinks behind the bar. I had to go find him to asked for desserts and to go boxes.

Delicious Thai offerings, classy/comfortable atmosphere and friendly/attentive service. Hostess seated us promptly with a welcoming smile and greeting. We immediately felt like valued customers. Jose provided excellent table service and helpful suggestions. Crab Rangoon appetizer was crisp and creamy. Pad Thai (pork), and Drunken Noodles (chicken) with vegetables dishes were both perfectly prepared with well balanced “heat” and spice. Noodles of both dishes had the tenderness of fresh-made and were full of flavor, creating an excellent base for the proteins and vege. I highly recommended Blue Orchid.
The best food in Jax area. Starting off with the pork lettuce wraps, which are very refreshing and fresh. The tom yum soup with medium spice is highly recomended the mushrooms have a brautiful flavor. The thai vegi soup is great

We went back for more! This time we tried Pad Thai and Chicken Thai Basil, and both were very good.

Great Chicken Drunken Noodles. Crab rangoon was also good. The galangal soup was good (They say it even has Keffir lime leaves in the base, which is amazing). Beware of the sizes when ordering the soup (bowl versus cup; the bowl is huge).
I had a great experience here with my girlfriend's family. We eat here pretty often when I come visit Jacksonville and the service is always great. We were assisted and sat right away by the hostess then our server quickly came by and took our orders when we were ready. The food came out fairly quick and tasted pretty good. Most of us had chosen the medium spicy level but some of us will definitely be going with mild next time as some dishes were a little spicier than we anticipated. Definitely come back for future visits!
