We have been loyal customers of Blue Moon since it first opened. The food has consistently been good, with the Hawaiian Chicken and Egg Rolls being our favorites. However, the staff has never been particularly friendly. The woman at the cash register is especially rude, and this isn't just a one-time occurrence—it happens every time we visit. Today, when I ordered eight egg rolls and requested some Red Chili Paste, she seemed annoyed and gave me just a tablespoon in a small plastic cup. For reference, a gallon jug of it costs about $12 at Restaurant Depot.
Perhaps this woman should consider a career change, maybe as a Detention Officer at the County Jail, or she could benefit from reading "How to Win Friends and Influence People."
This was my first time and man was I impressed! Upon arrival I was immediately greeted and seated. The lady brought my drink in less than a minute. After ordering my soup and egg roll was out extremely quick followed by me entree. The food was piping hot, fresh, and very delicious. The portions are very generous for the price!! The service was absolutely amazing and the music was great too! I would highly recommend Blue Moon to ALL of my friends and family A++
First time going and it Sucked!!! Over Priced chicken that looks like a 2year old put together. I ordered the " Hawaiian Chicken", Sounds fancy huh?? straight bullcrap.. lazY batter dipped chicken covered in sweet & Spicy sauce w/ Only 2 Pineapples on top!! And it said "Hawaiian chicken" like it was FANCY. It was tough to chew Anddd it was cut thin.!! Ugh, so disappointed.
My family and I have been eating there for over 20 years. The waitress knows my order before we sit down. I just went there and the whole staff is younger and have never waited on us before. I'm not sure if they changed ownership or what but we have never been treated so badly. We ordered our usual and the waitress would not allow us to order what we have ordered for over ten years. I offered to pay extra and they refused to accommodate. I will never go back. They will be out of business soon if they continue to act as if they dont like customers and that sucks because we loved that place!
We enjoy Blue Moon but something seemed a little off yesterday. Three different entrees but all tasted very samey. It's also just a bit high at $70 all- in for 3 dinners with water. On the upside, the rice is terrific and you can ask for more. Will wait a while before going back and hopefully I'll be able to taste this higher next time.
I am definitely giving this place a five because we came for the Chinese new year dragon dance that they have and the dance was absolutely beautiful. It was so cool to watch. My son had fun even though it was very chaotic. The staff was still getting orders out they took very good care of everyone there and they were very overwhelmed but they did an amazing job. Our waiter. It was a young Asian guy and he did amazing and the food was absolutely incredible. It looks run down or like it might not be good food on the outside but I promise you it’s a diamond when you go inside it is so so good and we had so much fun. It was my first time here and I was blown away.
I have driven by this place for years and finally stopped in. I was surprised by the large portions and everything was delicious. I wish I would have stopped by sooner. This is now one of our favorite Chinese food restaurants. We had the Hunan shrimp, house lo main, and a combo platter with chicken chow main sweet and sour pork and Hawaiian chicken. The fried rice was delicious and our daughter couldn’t stop eating everything.
First of all I came late last Friday night. The curry my girlfriend ordered was horrendous. It stunk and the meat was slimy…. Definitely not prepared correctly. My meal was adequate as far as quality, but the quantity was severely lacking… Part of my order was sweet and sour pork…. They gave me three pieces of it. Three. It tasted great. But, three?!
I just wasn’t impressed and my lady was hungry when she left…. She is not one to complain. I am but, she didn’t want any to…..
The floors looked janky…. Like paint or epoxy peeling up, and the decorations and cleanliness seemed to be lacking. There was a musty odor in the bathroom and the whole experience wasn’t good.
