What a hidden gem in my small town!!! . Absolutely amazing food . The potato soup I'm the bread bowl is literally 11/10. The food is very fresh and the staff is super nice. 10/10 most definitely recommend. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a bite if you haven't already..
Fantastic food and perfect little lunch spot. The Thai chicken has fantastic flavor and the carrot-ginger dressing is my favorite!! Don't leave without a chocolate chip cookie; you will not regret it.
Today we stopped in and got Beef barley soup and Ty’s Cobb salad. This is a peaceful environment with indie vibes. A healthy stop for a day in Alpena. Soups change throughout the week with the option of getting a bread bowl. They also have a variety of hot teas.
Some of the best Ramen I’ve ever had!! Husband’s chicken wrap was fantastic! Can’t wait to go back and try other dishes. Everyone very friendly and nice, calm vibe!
Was intrigued by the name! Glad I went. Had a big wonderful-tasting rueben sandwich on marbled rye. Piled high with corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss and sauce. Magnificent!! Served with a bag of kettle chips. Great atmosphere. The waitresses were sweet, friendly and very cheerful. They have on-line and phone-in carry out.
Will DEFINITELY go again!
I have been hesitant to try Blue Moon because I loved the Take5 deli that was here previously. It was actually my favorite lunch spot in Alpena.
Well let me tell you that you shouldn't wait like I did because I just had an outstanding lunch. The turkey spinach artichoke on rye and a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup is a definite must!
I am pleased to say that I definitely have my new favorite lunch spot back!
Phenomenal bread bowl of Cajun chicken and andouille sausage chowder!!! The cheeser with ham was excellent with great service!!
Got takeout for lunch and it was delicious! I had the Campbell St and it may be my new fave, the tomatoes were so yummy.
