Great seafood all around. We had the tacos and Reuben and the snapper was cooled perfectly and fell apart in your mouth. Decorations and menu is also kid friendly so a hige plus. Surprisingly the drinks were awesome as well. One of the better margaritas we've had in the area even if it was pretty simple.
HORRIBLE service today. Waitstaff was belligerent over questions about food quality.Very rude...very surprising compared to past visits. Salad was good and nice presentation. The pulled Pork Cuban ???? was extremely fatty.
Before Ian, it was a great place to stop for delicious food with a good atmosphere. But after Ian, it now has a new owner and as they wait patiently for their rebuild, he has a food truck and serving a wide variety of our favorites! There is outside seating with umbrellas. Still just as good food and experience! Can wait to see what the new restaurant will look like, but until then, if you come to Sanibel, it’s a must to eat at Blue Giraffe!
So, I love eclectic places and this is definitely unique! We stopped in for lunch and there is inside and outside seating available. The menus for breakfast and lunch are big, so I even if you're picky you'll still find something good to eat.
The decorations on the inside are very colorful and vibrant and give the space an artsy feel. Definitely worth visiting again if we are in the area.
Gave it 4 stars because it's not easy to find even with GPS..and when my fiance ordered the quesadillas, he asked for it just to be cheese and they still charged him full price. Other than that..you really need to go in and try this place out! Extra bonus, they have paper straws :)
This was a lovely spot for brunch - on Saturdays, I believe they stop serving breakfast items at 11. There is an area outside with a cluster of tables, but we were sat on the walkway, which had fewer tables with more space.
The mimosa was a little pulp-y, which I liked! It made it feel a little healthier, it wasn’t just a splash of Tropicana at least. I had the chicken and biscuits, which was really good - I just wish the cheese had been melted a little more. It would be nice to have the option for a side salad; I had a side of tomatoes instead of home fries/grits/fruit. The person I was with had the food truck tacos with homefries; he said the tacos were good, and I can personally confirm the homefries were hot and crunchy.
This is now a food truck, and it wasn't open when we were there, so we obviously didn't eat. When it was the actual brick and mortar building, it was our restaurant of choice whenever we go to Sanibel and Captiva. The food was always great and the waitstaff wonderful.
This was a very cozy place in a charming shopping village. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We had the Turkey club, sweet potato fries and chicken taco salad. Everything tasted really good. The maple dipping sauce that came with the sweet potato fries was delicious!!

I've been here a times in the past but this is the first time I decided to take a photo. Everyone working there was incredibly friendly and helpful and the overall atmosphere was sublime. The Blue Giraffe fish tacos I got very well made and had solid portions as did the rest of my party's food. I didn't picture them here but their classics sweet potato fries were also amazing along with the maple dip that they famously come with. While it was a little pricey I loved that food as always and would suggest it to anyone visiting the area.
