Waterfront dining tucked in the heart of Little River, not far from anything. We made a reservation and are glad we did, as they got busy quickly at dinner time. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, as well as an indoor/outdoor covered bar. It’s got boat parking and a nicely curated menu. Raw bar, classic seafood entrees, and a few house specials. The oysters, grouper entree and desserts were our favorite part!
Wow! 10 out of 10!! My husband, 2 friends, and I all LOVED this restaurant. I'm glad we used the app to make a reservation with the waterfront view because they were packed. I was looking for a place to get crab legs and live music with a view. We couldn't really hear the music from where we were, but the food and the view made up for that. The crab dip small plate (appetizer) was hands down one of the best we have ever had!!! You will need extra pita bread to go with it. I got the crab legs with a side salad (it was huge). The crab legs had a little too much old bay but it didn't deter me at all! My husband got the steak tips, and he said they "were mighty tasty!" Our 2 friends loved the crab cakes they both ordered. And my God...the turtle cheesecake had our eyes rolling in the back of our head in pure bliss! I'm not even that big of a fan of cheesecake, but DAMN it was good! Our waiter Grant was very personable. The sun setting added to the beautiful ambiance. You definitely need to try out The Blue Drum! I think they need to add a sign to the back of the building (where you park) as we weren't sure we were in the right place at first.
Ok, this is a gem of a place. You must go for the scenery and then you get a great meal. My grouper Oscar was spectacular. The service is great. The staff is fun! Scenery of intercostal waterway and dock is so neat. Parking was easy and plentiful. If you are at MB, you have to get to this place. A+ ...Well done all!
Had a great meal Sunday on the lower level next to the waterway. If you love waterfront dining, this cannot be beat on a nice day. I tried to crab Mac n. Cheese and it delicious. Heavy enough that I carried half home. Plan to come back.
A relaxing afternoon on the waterway! Oysters, Peel-eat Shrimp & SheCrab Soup were top of the line. Our waitress was the best, very attentive. Always had a smile & great personality. Will definately be going back.
The shrimp and grits were tasty and loaded with shrimp. I ordered a can of local microbrew beer with it, too. The view of the water was great. There is a lot of outdoor seating, which may be perfect in the summer. We sat outside, but close to the building because it was a bit chilly. There are propane heaters to keep you warm. There was plenty of parking when we visited November 6. Even more January.
Our bartender/server Stacy was amazing. A fellow Old-Fashioned drinker definitely new how to make them right. The mojito recommendation for my wife was spot on and delicious, she said. The patio dining is the place to be. Great views of the intercoastal waterway while dining! The food was GREAT! Enjoyed my lobster/crab melt sandwich and my bride loved her blackened mahi tacos!!! Already made dinner reservations for next week, so we will see you soon!!!
My sister & I took out mom here to celebrate her birthday & Mother's Day & it was delicious! Great service & atmosphere as well. Fried green tomatoes are excellent! Will be back again.
