Wings were big and rubbery, jerk sauce wasn’t giving jerk… for some reason my server gave me my food in a to go box even though we have a whole section/table and are dining in. $12 for this baby lemon drop. Do not recommend
Food was average, but the ambiance was dope. The waiter was on point. Would not mind going back. Fun times!
First time at this spot. At first it seem like the atmosphere was dead then all of a sudden it got jumping. Jerk chicken was too spicy and not very flavorful. It was way too much sauce. The bartender Colleen was very attentive and knows how to work the bar. Hookah was ok — not worth $50… lol Drinks were okay could’ve been better. This will prob be a one time thing.
This location was very dark which I understand it's a club. But it's dark and I sat there for 30 minutes for a waitress or even a server asked me did I want anything. So I ended up walking to the bar twice and no one help me at the bar. And the bar wasn't even crowded. The music was horrible. The DJ needs some work. He kept playing young music for these teenagers today and the crowd was pretty much an older crowd.
The food and drinks were alright. It's Jamaican inspired food but it was missing some flavor. My curry chicken was kind of plain. I got rice and peas and plantains as my sides. The plantains were perfect! The drink special was the lemon drop and it was okay. The server added automatic gratuity to my check and didn't mention it so I ended up tipping her twice which I did not appreciate. Let me decide to add more or not, don't take it up on yourself to add and not say anything. There is open mic night on THURSDAYS and it's a whole vibe.
Visit date: 7/17/22, Sunday night/Monday morning. I enjoyed coming here. We arrived around 12am, party of 6. They sat us promptly. But I suggest you get here early if you don’t want to wait to be seated, because it got very busy within an hour of us being there. There were only two servers at the time and they did their best. The service was pretty good. Pictured is a rum punch which was very good! 10/10. The tables are a little tight to sit at if you have a larger party but the server was able to move us to a more spacious one. They have hookah here. They have a DJ that plays great music! Afrobeats, reggae, hip-hop, old school R&B vibes. They serve food here too but we did not order any because we had just eaten somewhere else. The bathrooms are clean. I paid $24 for two rum punches, so I’d say that is pretty fair. I’m from Charlotte and there is a lack of places with this vibe. I would definitely go back here when I visit Atlanta again. Enjoy!
Beware!! James the security guard harasses women and tried to scam my people for $300. He would not leave my sister alone and we felt uncomfortable our time there. He tried to make us pay for a section we already paid for!! We told him get the waitress but since he’s the “head security “ he doesn’t have to listen to us and could make us leave. Very Unprofessional. The atmosphere is cool but the people who work there are shady. If it wasn’t for our waitress he would have ruined our entire night.
Came here for an after party last weekend. Didn't order food, saw the menu. It was too expensive anyway. Drinks were good, but overpriced, and a limited selection, IMO. The bartender was great, though. Nice attitude.
What was good? The DJ was dope!
