Disappointing Experience with Pricing changed!
the salon had a different name that the internet says but it was the place I booked . They said that “the previous owner didn’t change the name”. Ya right!
Upon calling to make an appointment, I was quoted a price of $120 for the color retouch, which seemed high However, upon receiving my bill, I was shocked to see that I was charged $180 instead. “I had to add color” she said This unexpected increase in price left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of, especially since I was not informed of any additional charges beforehand.
To make matters worse, the quality of the service provided by the hairstylist was disappointing. the results were subpar compared to what I had hoped for. It was clear that the hairstylist lacked the skill and expertise necessary to deliver satisfactory results.
While I chose to pay the bill without causing a scene, I left the salon feeling dissatisfied and regretful of my decision. As a customer, I expect transparency and fair pricing, as well as quality service, neither of which I received during my visit to what ever the name on the door is !
I called up to inquire the cost of a haircut, blow dry shampoo, et cetera. I was told by a woman named Michelle that the blow dry alone was $55!!!!!! I didn't even ask the cost of a haircut or a shampoo as $55 for a blow dry is just unbelievable and astronomical... what kinds of people does she think live and work here in Bluffton? If they only want to cater to millionaires and billionaires they should just say so!
PS All the great reviews are 1 to 5 years ago. I doubt any of those stylists are even there anymore!
Great atmosphere and talented hair stylist! Everyone is really kind and I had a really nice experience there. Amir did an amazing job on my hair, I am very pleased with the outcome, it came out just as I wanted! I would 100% recommend this place ;)
I love it when I can go into a hair salon and say "Make me look fabulous!" and they know just what to do! I have absolutely no idea what color or cut would look for my hair texture or the shape of my face. They do a great job with recommendations and the staff is very friendly! I always feel like a million bucks after I leave. I highly recommend Blow the Hair Bar!
Haley is an exceptional stylist and colorist! I've never been disappointed and always feel she listens to what I really want for my style and color. Highly recommend this salon and Haley!
Amir is a great stylist. He seems to understand what my really straight hair is asking for. I never see scissor lines or "next day strays" that missed the scissors. Other than being a great stylist, he's fun to chat with too. I believe he wants everyone to leave his shop looking forward to the next visit. (They take the covid restrictions seriously.)
Love this salon! Jennifer Hoffman is the best hairstylist. But from what I’ve seen all the stylists are talented artists. The atmosphere is trendy, modern and welcoming. I’ve been a client for almost 2 years and I love this place!
Melissa was amazing! As well as the whole staff! I’ve lived in HH for three years and have gone many of places I didn’t love, price wasn’t right, hair was not what i wanted, etc. BUT Blow checked all the boxes, hair is exactly what I wanted (actually better), price is great, and I couldn’t be happier with my hair & experience! Found my new spot & girl to make my hair fab!
