Great salon and hairdressers are very nice. Angela has saved my hair from previous terrible highlighting. She doesn’t rush and also is very conscious of keeping your hair healthy. Prices are very fair .
Spend a few extra dollars and go to a CLEAN salon. The stylist started to brush my hair with a brush that clearly had been used on several other clients before me. It was disgusting! Additionally, there's an inch of dust everywhere; obviously they don't prioritize cleanliness. Prices are cheap, but as the saying goes: You get what you pay for. Slovenly, unprofessional, rude, and overall very disappointing.
I have been going to Angela for over 2 years now and she is amazing! She is beyond talented and always gives me the perfect blonde shade I love and beautiful haircuts. Every appointment with her is fun and I always leave happy! I love the salon and all of the other stylists and staff are equally great!
I've been looking for a new salon and this one is near my house. I went to make an appointment and a "gatekeeper" was sitting outside in front of the building. She was very rude and intimidating. There was a sign on the door that said it was locked, but she waited for me to fumble with it rather than telling me it was locked. I said I wanted to make an appointment and she demanded that I wear a mask or I wasn't allowed to step inside the building. I left my mask in the car but I am vaccinated anyway! She wouldn't let me schedule and was just a terrible first impression of the business. There are only, like what, a thousand other salons to pick from? No thanks, Bliss. You guys need to learn courtesy! The salon is small and in a really gross, old plaza. You'd think they'd WANT business, but I guess not!
Angela is A - M - A - Z - I - N - G!!! I'm really picky about my hair and who I let cut and color it, but I'm sure many women say the same thing. However, I got so many compliments on every aspect of my new 'do. In addition to the great style, Angela was really personable, friendly, and listened to what I wanted. When I allowed her to make a decision for me, she definitely nailed it. I'll be going back (in fact, I just scheduled my next appointment).
Angela did such an amazing job! Also a very friendly staff here.
I know this doesn't seem consistent with the other reviews but I could not not say anything about my experience. The people are nice. But the place is dirty!
I know they are relocating soon. But that is no excuse for no cleanliness! I went about a week ago and when my stylist asked me to sit down to wash my hair there has hair all over the chair and sink. I tried to ignore it.
When she brought me over to cut my hair she pulled out this brush that was COVERED in hair which totally grossed me out but I was in too deep to try to get out of it. What do you say in that situation?? I was so stunned I couldn't think fast enough to find a nice way to say "don't you dare get near me with that!"
My stylist did not seem very experienced which is totally fine - but I didn't think she had very good etiquette. Didn't ask me where a parted my hair - just picked a spot and I corrected her. Tried to get out of blow drying or styling my hair. At that point I was fine with that because I didn't want her to use any of her tools in my hair. Just overall not a very pleasant experience.
I love Bliss, there's no better hair studio for the results anywhere that I've tried over the last 20 years!
