I was told it would take 3-4 hours it took 6 hours and 30 min. 2 people came after me and left before me. They also stopped doing my hair and went to help with a white lady who came after me and finished her then came back to me. I only had one person working on me the whole time while everyone else was doubled up and when the store emptied I even saw workers sitting down on their phones while I was getting braided by one lady even after promising “3-4 hours tops”. The style I got costed 170$ with hair and was a repeat of a style I had done by someone else that was longer and costed 120$ and was told by Blessings if I got longer they would charge more. Oh and not to mention everyone I saw with my style got curls with curlers and dipped in hot water while mine were braided and dipped in hot water. This was very unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone unless you have time and money to waste and patience to lose. Def not going back.
They where ripping out my child's hair as if it was fake hair. If you have long curly beautiful real hair be prepared to get it ripped out . I didn't want to make this review it was from a while back but I don't want anyone's child to go through this terrible experience. Could not even do one braid. Had to leave.
Best hair braiders that I've had so far!! I've been to plenty and there is always a problem... Especially with me being in a wheelchair.... But with them I HAD NO ISSUES.... I explained to them how the previous braider made my braids too big.... And how the other canceled without notice..... They got me in with no appointment, made my braids the perfect size and I didn't have to ask twice.... They will now have my business as long as I am needing braids.... And I will be bringing my daughter because the Braids are not tight to the point of where you feel like they are braiding your soul!! Very good experience!!!!
I called to schedule an appointment and the owner had an attitude with me for no reason. I will not be doing business as they do not know how to treat customers. Now I see why they have so many bad reviews.
At first, the braids look good and amazing. Then after about a day of having them, i broke out in a head to toe rash with my scalp being swollen and red. I had the urge to itch my scalp even with putting hair oil to reduce it. My whole family was up at 5 Aam trying to untangle the mess and take it out so my hair could be free. It took till 12AM on a school night when i had to wake up at 6. When we washed these out with a curly haired shampoo, the “edge gel” that looked like wax, started fizzing out of my head and burning while it came out. Even after months of taking these braids out, my head is still sensitive til this day. Before this my head has NEVER experienced any type of sensitivity or thinning. Plus my braids were so expensive, it was from a range of 180-200 for SMALL BOX BRAIDS. At a regular shop it would have been from 95-130. Heaviest braids i’ve ever had, and my length and color was wrong. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SALON UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR HAIR MESSED UP!
I’ve been with this company for 10 years. It’s always something with this place my braids falls out so this last time I text Blessings showed her a picture of my braids and she told me the next time I come she give me a discount, so today was the day I came back remind you I haven’t been back in four months because of my braids falling out. My appointment was at 9 o’clock today. The hairdresser didn’t get there till 10 they told me 70$ for 6 braids so the lady started 1 Braid stopped was looking for what ever she lost. Then started another braid so at this point she only did 2 braids in my head so far , then stopped again to go get some coffee. ????????♀️ like this is so unprofessional then she finish so I’m waiting on Blessings to return my text message to tell me how much do I have to pay since she was giving me a discount she gets there and they told me $70 still how is that a discount then goes to say it was $100 but she gave me a discount for the long wait I said know she was giving me a discount for my braids that fell out 4 months ago not about the wait I did today switching up the prices I am a loyal customer and don’t deserve this type of service. I would never be back here again. I’ve been there waiting since 8:50 to get 6 braids and left at 12:15 are you serious I’m so mad ????
