I have been coming to Blessed Hands for several years. I am very satisfied with the service provided. My hair was burnt with a bad relaxer before I switched. However, S. Ruthie got it back on track. It is now soft, long and full-bodied. I am extremely happy that I discovered this salon.

Ladies definitely do a great job in whatever hair style you want. They may take long but it's well worth the time if you are expecting proffessiontion. It was my first time and I was very pleased.
HelloI I just moved to Shreveport recently and was looking for a stylist to do a lace closure sew in. So I ran upon this business on website and called to ask which stylist could do lace closure sew ins and was available on the selected day that I need because my original stylist had just had surgery and could not do my hair that week. A lady named Ruthie answered the phone and said she could do it. I had a appointment at 9:00am with Ruthie. When I arrived she told me she didn’t know how to do lace closure sew in. She could only do closures without lace and asked if I could go back to store and exchange my closure for another without lace. So I did but store didn’t have any without lace. So I returned with a different closure that would be easy to do and she consulted with another stylist in shop several times about how to do closure. Instead of just transferring me to lady that knew how to do it correctly. She attempted to do closure and put it in wrong. The other stylist had to assist her with closure. She didn’t know how to bleach knots on closure or pluck it. She just sewed it in within bleaching knots or anything. The other stylist had to somewhat fix this disaster. I ended up staying at the shop with Ruthie from 10:30am to 8:30pm before she finished. No sew in takes that long. I had several other things to do that day that I never got to because of her not knowing what she was doing. I had came to far along to leave at this point. Then after all this and waisting my whole day, she still wanted the full price of $200, when I should have gotten a discount for her keeping me there all day and not knowing what she was doing. I was already in a bad neighborhood, because the shop is in a bad neighborhood in Shreveport on lakeshore drive off of Jewella. Everyone kept checking on her because I had been there so long. I showed the lady a picture of how I wanted my hair and she still screwed that up. I told her I wanted a side part closure and she still couldn’t get that right either but felt she deserved full pay. You should always respect your clients time and try to at least half way right your wrongs by giving a discount when you as a stylist know you are in the wrong. I will never ever go here again and suggest everyone to bypass this shop. Worst experience ever and my closure is coming up and not on properly. Ghetto hair salon. Do not go here.
Beverly is a miracle worker. I was nervous with doing the big chop on my hair due to extensive breakage from being in the military and not being able to take care of my hair like I wanted to but Mrs. Beverly heard and listened to what I wanted and did more than what was originally expected on my hair. I am truly thankful for her and her work and professionalism. If It wasn't for my getting stationed some where new soon, this would be the spot where I would come to get my hair treated and done. My only regret is not finding this place sooner. I am extremely happy with the end result. Stay blessed ladies and Thank you!
Ms Ramona was good company and a great stylist for my natural hair .she was on time and very professional.I got a good hair wash and conditioning protein treatment and 2strand twist with my natural hair for a reasonable price I DEFINITELY RECCOMEND FOR YALL TO CHECK HER OUT and will be going back as soon as my hair need restyling or coloring
She blamed my split ends for the reason she only braided half of my hair and still charged full price. Parted my hair in a lazy manner. Parts didn't look anything like the photo I showed her and it was just basic parting. My hair came undone after just two days
