Best WLM Reviews

I’ve been passing this place for months now, I was glad I finally tried Blessed Hands today! Being west African I knew what to expect from the dishes they offer, and I must say they did not disappoint. The Potato leaves were delicious as was the other items I ordered for myself and family. Aside from the food, I was pleased with the service as well. Granted the young man didn’t seem the most familiar with what was available at the time of my order.. he was sure to check with the chef instead of giving me any old response. He was polite and even offered to help me take my order to the car because it was a large bag. There was a slight miscommunication with my order that I noticed once I got to my car. Having two small children in the car asleep , I didn’t want to make another dash inside. Their response to accommodate the miscommunication with a replacement side was already a plus, but to have the chef/ owner (I assume) bring it out To me at the car because of my situation with the small children was very admirable. He didn’t have to and “curbside pickup” is not a feature they currently offer, so it was Done out of kindness and consideration . I appreciate this establishment , and I’m glad the food was so good because I will certainly be returning !
My daughter got Egusi soup and Fufu... she said it was good. I was a bit disappointed with the Soya, it was very fatty. I had entire pieces of fat in my container. Upset that I paid so much for a bunch of fat. I had it before and I didn't have to worry about removing small bits of steak from fat. I couldn't enjoy my meal. The flavor was good and I would have given them a 5, but I just can't overlook the fact they would give me small pieces of steak with a lot of fat.
The jollof rice had absolutely no flavor And there was no stew on top there was no chicken there was no vegetables. The egysi soup was great and the plantain was pretty good 4/5. I just thank whoever's cooking the jollof rice needs to go Senagal or Sierra Leone to study. It isn't bad it's definitely edible however I've never tasted more boring jollof rice It really tastes just like white rice like what they give you at the Chinese food place. And if you're going to make flavorless rice like that you really should serve it with stew or chicken or put some mixed veggies in there... However the Egusi soup was really good they don't give you enough utensils unless you ask for them which is kind of annoying but overall good food
This is authentic African foods. The restaurant has an alternate menu of grilled and fried fish and chicken. Eru&Fufu, boiled and fried plantain, goat stew, cassava leaves&rice. Sides include spinach&collard mix, Jellof rice, black beans, Bobolo, and more options.
The food choices I've had were seasoned well (grilled chicken, curry goat stew, fried Tilapia, French fries, and fried plantain.
Check their website for more options if you order catering.
Highly recommended.
A small place that sits at least 12 guests, but they have some space to set up one or two more tables that can sit 4 per table.
I ate jollof rice with fried plantains, which was very nice though I would have loved it to be spicy. ????️
Ordered the Egusi and fufu, I was eating so fast it was delicious!
Fresh and just wonderful.
Listened to Gospel music and enjoyed the meal!
Wonderful woman brought me more to drink (me being pregnant ???????? water was probably more for the baby than for me????), but still, how sweet!
Tastes just like my Mama's so good, highly recommend!
(Note: I ate so quickly. Taking a photo was an afterthought, so good!)
It was good, they didn't have much options in their menu. Their place was really small this restaurant should have got a three but, it's still good
(Left to Right, Top to Bottom): Jollaf rice, 1/4 Curry Chicken Leg, Egusi Soup, Fried Plantain, Fufu, Gari, Spinach and Collards
Absolutely delicious food and everyone inside was so warm and welcoming <3 I’ll be back to try more dishes!!
