Best WLM Reviews
Came here for the first time a few weeks ago with my husband and a couple of friends. We really enjoyed it and the food was great. I’m vegan so I decided to create my own pizza. I did the class dough, red sauce and vegan cheese. For the toppings I did spicy chorizo (vegan), green bell peppers, spinach, roasted broccoli, garlic and red onion. When the pizza was done cooking they offered to add a sauce on top and I chose their pesto drizzle (they confirmed that it’s vegan). The pizza was absolutely delicious. My husband and friends agreed that they loved their pizzas too. I highly recommend checking this place out :)
Never been to a BLAZE PIZZA.
I like the concept, you build your own with various toppings and various prices.
Can't really say much on "Atmosphere" because it's kind of basic.
Maybe some music or more colors or food pictures? We all enjoyed the separate pizzas we created.
Prices do seem fair for the individual pizzas we made.
Kind of a toss-up between this and Mod Pizza for best build-your-own individual pizza. Both are excellent. This location seems pretty busy, but staff is excellent and helpful. Pizza is terrific too.
I piled on a lot of toppings and wondered afterwards if anyone has ever done the Homer Simpson/Noah "two of everything"? Would be interesting.
Son went with a two topping, but added the high-rise crust. Normally, I'm not a fan of thick crust but the bite I had was delicious. Fluffy, not doughy.
Came for the first time last night (a Monday night) and absolutely loved it! I was warmly greeted and helped by Alex. He explained how ordering works and gave great recommendations. I opted to do a build your own. They have a great selection of toppings and it’s basically whatever your heart desires at that point. I did half and half on the sauce and added a ton of toppings. It was cooked perfectly and then you get the option to add more toppings after it’s done (arugula and an array of a few sauces.) For getting to add all the toppings and the size of the pizza I think it’s a great value. It came out to be just under $10 which I think is great for a completely customizable pizza and the size it is. It fed my boyfriend and I just fine. They were also closing up which we were there and didn’t make us feel rushed out and even ga e us some salad they had left because it was the end of the night. The salad was also extremely tasty! Definitely recommend giving it a shot.
I have no idea why Taya (working the cash register) was rude to me. We’ve worked together in the past & I never treated her bad. So I don’t know where the attitude stemmed from.
When I started my order I asked if I could swap the mozzarella cheese for a bit of shaved parmesan & gorgonzola, the employee said yes, but as I got to the end, Taya tried charging me full price instead of the deal they had going on, because apparently what the first employee had told me at the start of the line was incorrect & the gorgonzola counts as a topping even if you substitute the regular mozzarella cheese for it.
I told her this & she very snidely says she’ll do it for me this one time “to avoid the argument”. Like, excuse me? You didn’t even greet me or my child when we said hi to you & you automatically jump to “argument”?
The visit left a sour taste in my mouth, so I went to the South Meadows location right afterwards, where another employee mentioned how I was just at the Sparks store, so I’m assuming she had called to gossip & complain about me??
Highly unpleasant encounter.
The pizzas were good though! Light on the toppings as always, & one of them was cut into like 9 pieces of various sizes, but they’re fairly tasty for what they are.
The pizza was good but after biting into a pretty sizeable bone in my chicken I figured I would mention it to one of the staff who mentioned it to the manager. He came over and basically told me there was nothing they could do. I wasn't looking for any favors but didn't appreciate the lack of accountability. I wasn't going to leave a review but as there's nothing they can do I figured I could do something by at least warning other people to watch out for bones in their ????.
Create your own pizza is right up my alley. I don’t eat cheese and they offer a vegan cheese plus a gluten free crust. You get your pizza in a box so you can take home what is left over. There is an excellent amount of toppings to choose from. You can create your own pizza masterpiece.
Paid $25 for a custom large pizza with chicken, ham, bacon, banana peppers, jalapeños, pineapple, and BBQ drizzle.
They skipped the bell pepper and the BBQ, and the only toppings that had a reasonable amount were the peppers and pineapple. There's 1 to 2 tiny bits of chicken or bacon per slice.
Do yourself a favor, get dinner somewhere else, unless you want just cheese bread and peppers.
