Rico was AMAZING! He was so welcoming and entertaining, a great conversationalist for sure! He was very gentle with my sister (she got her first tattoo here!) He reassured her that it was going to be easy and painless and indeed, it was! He also did one of my tattoos and it turned out way better than I ever imagined. He has such a soft hand, that the tattoos are nearly painless. He does beautiful work! We will definitely be back!
Rico does amazing work. I fully recommend paying his drawing fee and having him draw you something up. He is awesome. I got a tattoo from him almost 12 years ago and then again about 2 weeks ago. Can't wait to come back to MI to visit again and have him do a few more for me. I would post a picture of mine but it wraps and pictures just don't make it look that great. I have gotten a lot of compliments on it and it has healed so amazingly.
Called on Monday and spoke with Rico. He got my daughter and I in same day to get our tattoos done. His line work and customer service is TOP NOTCH! He is very personable, knowledgeable, and agreeable to what our, simple, needs were. We WILL be back when it comes time for our next tats!!!! Thank you Rico for EVERYTHING you did for us!!!!! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Blackline and Rico!
I researched many tattoo places. I had some other recommendations to other places... But I am so glad I made the decision to go to Blackline Tattooing. Rico takes pride in his work. My daughter drew me a design and Rico helped me turn it into an amazing meaningful tattoo. He took his time to help recreate and make perfection happen. Just recently took my son for a tattoo, Rico was great all the way around. Made sure it was exactly what my son wanted, he was very friendly and helpful when it came to some questions that we (my sister) and I had. But most importantly his work was spot on and absolutely professional!!! Would recommend black line to anyone looking to get a tattoo, and will be back in the future!

I went in on a whim back in 2018 for their $13 Friday the 13th Special and got 6 small tattoos! Unfortunately I do not remember the artist's name, but he was professional and courteous. The folks at Blackline are friendly and easy to work with, and the artwork and lasting quality is superb. Love it!
I have been going here for many years and am always impressed by the work that’s done for me . I always get compliments on my tattoos and refer many people to the shop . Rico is great to work with and will take the time to make sure you have exactly what you want .
