Since the manager Chris left the consistently of the pizza crust has changed for hand tossed. There is no airy crust, it’s flat. They haven’t offered a better offer price wise for my choice of pizza which would have save me money and increase the tip for my delivery driver. I am a long time customer and there are no “coupons” for us now. I am moving my business to a different location now.
This is officially my go to Pizza joint. Moved to Lakewood recently, saw this place was nearby and thought I'd try it out. I've tried several different pizzas here, all were good and very reasonably priced. Think little Caesars, just better.
I placed an order online recently and they mistakenly gave away part of my order before I came in to pick it up. The gentleman at the counter was very apologetic, he threw another item in the oven ASAP and comped me part of my order. Really wasn't expecting that, I doubt you'd ever get that good of customer service at LC.
You can get comparable pizza to Jets at this place (try the square pan pizza, aka Detroit style) for a fraction of the cost. Not too long ago I recall spending over $50 for a single pizza from jets. Ordered the same thing here and it tasted just as good, and cost me about $20.
If you're in the neighborhood and you like pizza, give this place a try. IMO, this place beats out any other pizza chain around hands down.
I loved blackjack, But it turns out that inflation has finally caught up to them. They raised the prices, and you get less!!! The ranch cups are smaller!! The wings are not the same wings! They're tiny lil things lol the cheese bread is smaller! So small you can hear it move in the box lol ???? the crust of the pizza is slightly thinner and tougher. Overpriced for below average quality. The good days of blackjack have came and went. R.I.P
Went in to the store and placed an order for 3 large pizzas and 18 wings. I was charged $72.55 which included a $5 tip and was told it would be 30 minute wait. I told Andrew that was no problem that I was going to go drop my wife and kids off at home and I waited 45 minutes and drove back as I knew they were busy. When I walked in Andrew told me they hadn't even started my order and that they were now out of a bunch of toppings. When I got frustrated and said that was ridiculous as I literally placed my order in person and wasn't told they were out of toppings I wanted and that the order wasn't even started and would take an additional 30 minutes Andrew got really nasty and said he'd be more than happy to cancel my order. I told him please do and that they have now lost a customer that normally spent $150 a month in their store (I know not a huge customer, but not small). Andrew said he didn't care, if I was upper management I would fire him as he is bad for the business more less garbage manager.
First thank you to the owner for responding. Today May 16th at around 20:25 while eating in my truck next to Black Jack pizza I had to watch a young plebian of a delivery driver almost hit three young 12 to maybe 15 year old kids as he peeled out in reverse of his white sedan. He had no idea he was within inches of hitting 3 young children . The young kids jumped back yelling. I absolutely asked if they were ok and they were just fine thankfully..The driver did not see as he raced out and deliver his pizza. Then he returns. The kids are gone but now he slides his brakes like he's drifting a race a car and almost goes into Black Jacks front entrance. This disaster in progress is a severe liability and an embarrassment to your company and needs to have his driver's license suspended. I am so angry to almost have witnessed 3 children possibly severely injured. I'm am furious. Please handle this employee. The photos below are of the employee who is a complete simpleton and couldn't look me in the eye as I walked out from speaking with Isaac who was the manager. This employee is a risk to anyone on the road especially pedestrians. I am a former officer and I can promise you if I was still in Uniform and not disabled he would be down in Jefferson county getting finger printed for Wreckless Endangerment. Child Endangerment. Wreckless driving, speeding. FAILURE to use a turn signal and whatever else would have been searched for in his vehicle.. Jefferson County would be about the worst place to get those charges...When you see someone hurt or almost kill a child the fury and frustration I hope is felt through this post.
I will say the manager was very kind and polite as I walked in furious at what I had seen. I do take my own accountability for being a bit rude to the manager. Also I was irritated that the other young man with braces and wearing a black beanie in 4th photo of him walking by the door.. I will not post their identity but the license plate of the delivery driver being public knowledge absolutely will be posted. Back to the second issue.. The young man said he had no idea who I was talking about and said no one like that worked there and insulted not my intelligence but embarrassed himself.. I said to this teenager do you think your a snitch ? I then just shook my head and thought well he defenitly won't ever be a manager with that mentality it's job bro not the streets !!!
The manager confirmed and assured me that he would handle the situation however a write up is not going to take away the absolute negligence of this driver...... Isaac kept his professionalism and for Isaac you deserve a 5 star rating friend. I can tell you did clearly care about what I saw, heard, and felt made me a bit hopeful this will not happen again. I still at 03:39 and kept up by what I visually saw hours later am beside myself seeing harmless kids almost swiped out into traffic by a SMH............... The team just needs to make a serious trade on there driver
Please notice my sincerity by looking at over my 70 reviews of how many businesses or companies I have given 1 star. I do not like giving 1 star. This review should reflect on this driver as a liability for Black Jack Pizza but not for Black Jack pizza as a company. We all have had employees we regreted trusting. I truly hope there is video cameras outside for the owners to see what almost ruined their business earlier and what is still disturbing to witness. I know this wasn't his first time driving this way for your company. Next time I will record this driver and call police. It's now 03:47. I should not be this upset at what I saw as well as my friend being very upset and he will also witnessed and will be leaving his own words of what he saw.. Please do the right thing Black Jack Pizza

Why would you do this to your pizza? I decided to eat it only because if I had complained while hungry y'all would be dead, stop messing with hungry people's food. The other 2 pizzas in the order were cooked perfect, but this is just negligent and I can't help but take it personally, did you not like my toppings choices? Am I not good enough for you? Serving someone burnt food is an act of hate. I hope whoever cooked my pizza gets their karma the next time they're hungry. ????
Got the flyer in the mail the other day. I open it up tonight. Tried to figure out the pricing. They are very vague. So I called. Once they told me how much they charged for delivery I heard enough and the flyer found its place in the trash. I can pick up a large 3 topping from papa Murphys for the price they are charging for a small delivered
Always good and hot, the Wisconsin cherry walnut & spinach salad is bomb. Service is always good, leave a tip in the tip jar on the counter, it's hot making pizza all day, they deserve it.
