Best WLM Reviews
I was not impressed with my dinner at all. For over $30 I was expecting more than just 2 shrimp, 2 scallops, and a small piece of swordfish. The rice was bland and so was the slaw. Wasn’t even plated nice at all either. I go here every time I visit family in FL and I was so disappointed. I guess when I go back next year I’ll give it another try. Wasn’t what I remember from last time I was there. Service was good though and atmosphere was outstanding like I remember though.
Blackfins is the amazing seafood restaurant at the Capt Hirams complex in Sebastan, Florida. Easy access from Route 1 and worth a diversion from A1A and I-95. Food is Florida fresh seafood based and delicious! Service is friendly! Waterside atmosphere is cool and casual and hard-to-beat. Amazing views! Parking can seem tight nearby, but is available in multiple large Hiram-owned lots. It's worth it to circle for a spot. I look forward to returning! Highly recommended.
I had the $6 Thursday mai tai drink and the fish and chips as did my friend. The cod was perfectly cooked and delicious and I usually don't like french fries but these were seasoned just right and I loved them. Prices were reasonable and the service was quick and friendly. You can't beat the view. Our table was right on the water. I will return there!
Great place, big portions, generous pours, and great people!
Wonderfully relaxing restaurant and bars situated on the Indian River in Sébastien, Florida. Our server was gregarious and totally efficient. She checked on us at least four times even though the place was becoming packed. Fresh catch options were excellent. All in one atmosphere for dining and then drinks and dancing made this place a place to be. Across the street was a hotel and resort. This hotel has it all. The combination of restaurant and then a sandy beach setting in the three bar areas create a party atmosphere like no other. Join the fun. Have a drink and relax.
Food was horrible. The crab cake was very fishy. The Lettuce wedge salad was like $16 or $18 and looked like something you mad with leftovers in your fridge. The shrimp in the shrimp tacos were tiny. The roasted vegetables look like something you would see at a firewall buffet or a nursing home. The beer was nice and cold and the wings were halfway decent. I think this may be a tourist trap. The location is great and the view is really nice. The service was fine it was just really bad food.
Let me say, I made the biggest mistake by walking in this so called restaurant!
I caught my own snowy grouper and tile fish and brought it to them to cook it. Well if you know fishes, you can't screw up these fish! Well they did. More breading than fish, under cooked. They destroyed my fish! The manager had an attitude and thought he was doing us a favor. Please don't go there. If they can ruin fresh fish straight from a boat what are they doing with fish that's a couple days old?
Alas, I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. The Treasured Trio ($30+) was disappointing at best. I feel totally robbed! The fish I was served did not resemble the description, 2, scallops, 2 shrimp and very bland fish. The mixed veggies reminded me of school lunch veggies ☹️???? bland and waaaaay over cooked (can you burn boiled veggies?). Salad was served after the meal, which ended up working in my favor since the veggies were not edible, I put the fish on my salad. The fried food and the tacos that my dinner companions served was pretty good! Thank goodness! I had been looking forward to dinner here, especially after reading the Hiram story. So disappointing!
