I spoke with Mr.Blackburn the owner and he quoted me a price and a payment on a piece of equipment. I even called him a week later to check on the price and to make sure he hadn't sold the piece of equipment. He said he still had it and the price "sounds about right". I came on the following Saturday and he told me another price and different payment of $100 more per month. I brought the paper in that he had written the price on and he told me he would get back to me. 30 minutes later he came back and said the bigger piece of equipment at the same price as the smaller one. And I asked him about the price that he had wrote down and he said "it has no signature you can't prove I wrote that".
I 900 to get new seals in my gearbox and new fluid and I got front end rear end and motor oil changed when I went to pick it up it was running good and then I got it to the house and didn't even make it out of my drive way and the gearbox went out. I took it to another garage and when they open the gearbox up they said there wasn't a drop of oil in it. And I thought that was awful funny because I never leaked no oil out and then I called Blackburn's lawn equipment and told them about it and they said there's nothing they can do about it so now I got to pay $2,000 to get a new gearbox cause and the other shop said none of that work was completed
Bought a brand new mower for 7000 dollars 6 weeks ago and have already had trouble with the belt coming off and a flat tire. When I called the owner he wanted to charge me $120 to come pick it up and return it. Ridiculous and rude service!
bought a can am commander just recently and when i brought it back to have it serviced i brought my brothers maverick with me to also have it serviced. the following day i receive a call from mr blackburn telling me my commander is done and that my brother should come pick his up unserviced. when i got there i was talking with a mechanic who tells me that he had plenty of time to service both machines but mr blackburn told him not to service the maverick. when i asked mr blackburn why the maverick didnt get serviced he told me he had enough work backed up for customers. thats total bullshit his mechanic had just told me he had time to service both machines.
If you absolutely NEED a John Deere dealer they're local, but incredibly rude and very high on prices. Went in once looking for a special set of mower blades I couldn't pick up just anywhere. They were ridiculously expensive and the sales guy was short and hateful.
Took my riding mower in for 25 hr service on Monday, one I bought from there, and was told be ready on Tuesday. Called Tuesday was told Wednesday, called Thursday was told Friday. It’s Sunday, no mower. Absolutely pitiful, very bad business and dishonest.
Good selection but hard to deal with on prices..Dosnt seem to matter how much money you spend they will cut you NO breaks. Labor for repair is very high compared to other services in the area.
The man we spoke to was friendly and told my husband how to try cleaning his carborator before buying an expensive rebuild kit and saved us a lot of money.
