Greeeted directly upon my arrival. Waited a lil bit then the barber gave me an option to wait a lil longer or go next and the client and I both agreed it was ok that I go first. Good vibes & most importantly my cut is fire. Wish I got the hot towel treatment though. Before & After pics below.
Orlando was my barber/artist. He turned me from Shrek to Prince Charming. Found Black Star Unisex through Google and the reviews are amazing. Their first impression was so heart-warming and rewarding. I was greeted once I walked in the door. Orlando gave my 2 yr old the best haircut I have ever seen. Just like the movie Barbershop with Ice Cube but this place is 10 times better. Definitely coming back!!!!!

I finally found a place that knows how to cut natural hair and it is a clean and friendly inside. Mr. Grant who cut my hair was quick and precise, highly recommended coming here if you need a great black Barbershop.
Eric is a great Barber. The establishment very aware of safety issues. Everyone wears a mask and they take your temperature at the sign-in desk. Walk ins are accepted but I recommend making an appointment ahead of time. Place is kept clean. Great place for men & women.
I came in town looking for a cut. I'm a discriminating guy when it comes to a cut. I can appreciate all those spots where they give you coffee, or food while you wait. But, that's not my cup of tea. I came here as a walk-in and was greeted at the door by a receptionist, who took my name. Eric cut me up with great attention to detail. The dude is dope! I got a hot towel, shaped me up with a straight razor, gave me a sweet fade. I highly, highly recommend this place and ask for Eric, who is the barber to the left of the door, to the back. He's a cool dude, def recommend him.
The wait was very long but the hair cut was on point. I will be sure to make an appointment well in advance. If you decide to walk in, you will be waiting 2 hours like I did so save yourself the frustration and reserve. Same day appointments are also more than double the price so listen to me, and plan ahead to save time and money. Busy barbers = good barbers. These cats are good!
