Nice affordable little breakfast buffet and nice staff. Convenient spot to dock your boat while fishing or just stopping in while driving through or camping. They also have a little store that sales your fishing needs and beverages (beverages are a little pricey, which is somewhat expected for the convenience). Loved the gals who were working this last time we stopped in to get the kids a snack and grab some grub and jewelry for the fish. They were great with an awesome sense of humor and just a hoot. If only they had control of the wind out there. Lol. Will definitely be back next time we go fishing out there.
Campgrounds are nice, food is good if you like everything fried. Go ahead bring your dogs because they can't do anything about when you get here. Nobody obeys the rules. So if you think this place has no dogs , wrong. The people are very nice.
Waited 10-15 min to even get a drink order
Waited over an hour for food cause they lost our ticket then couldn’t even eat it. It wasn’t prepared as we asked. Asked for 2 waters never got. Spent almost 2 hours in there for a simple lunch and spent over $40. Complete waste of money and time. Never offered any discount for there screw ups or anything. Won’t go back
Very disappointment for hoping for a nice enjoyable meal!

We were sick of winter and drove down to see the water and have a break. We were so glad to be able to eat at Black Sands. The food was delicious. We had burgers and fries. Yum. And the people were so friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
The menu online shows that a double bacon cheese burger is 12.25 but when you show up to pay it's now 18.00+ So miss leading. So I called to see why the price difference ???? their response was the online menu is WRONG! The website hasn't been updated forever! So don't rely on it! The way it works is you order a hamburger for 11.00 (plain) you want a double 3.00 you want 2 slices of bacon 3.00 and all this shows on the menu in the restaurant NOT online! Plus card fee and tax. The women that were working on this date were rude as well. We will not be going back at this point. So misleading
Bartender Amy is amazing. Awesome drinks and awesome service. New owners suck to say the least. So cheap they won’t buy a $3 bottle of bitters. Sits at the bar and watches everything making the environment very unpleasant. Used to stop in every week for drinks and food with the old owner. Tried this several times but sadly will never be back under the new owners.
Rode the bikes out for a little camping and fishing. Nice spot right on the water . Enjoyed a great meal at the restaurant. Dinner on the deck overlooking the lake. Very nice staff. Tent spots have fire rings, BBQ, table and nice shade trees.
Really nice people. The owner and the waitress are very friendly. Enjoyed talking with them. They answred our questions about the area. Love the restaurant. It has a good feeling. I was expecting the hamburgers to be an average burger but to my surpise they tots and burger were really good.
