Food is pretty good, but beware ordering options. If you order an entree 'combo', your side (rice) will be included in your combo box, rather than as a side, leaving less of the entree. You end up paying more and getting less. Pretty annoyed getting home after tipping 20% for takeout.
Great prices on lunch menu for reasonably good food. So far.. I have had the orange chicken which I loved. The yellow Thai curry was good, but not nearly as good as a couple other places in town, it lacked flavor and not enough spice or sauce. The broccoli beef was good but not my favorite. My coworker had general tsos chicken which honestly looked amazing and I will go back and try for lunch one day. I think the sushi is better than Lee's if that means anything to you.
The food was good but the rolls had some kind of fibers on it, like small white plastic-y fibers which made the food a bit unsettling. Me and my girlfriend left feeling this weird like something stuck in the back of your neck feeling after eating a few pieces of sushi. Other than that the food was decent.
We were in for a quick lunch with coworkers. Service was good. The waitress refused to sing happy birthday, but she delited us with a lite desert for the birthday girl.
We ordered coconut yellow thai curry. Portion was good but taste was not actual thai curry. No coconut milk and no thai curry flavor available in that. Sesame chicken was too sweet and hand to chew. Nigiri sushi was good. Rosana the lady served us. She was a very nice woman.
My wife DoorDashed this place a week ago and loved it, so we ordered take out here for dinner tonight so I could try it. The amount of food we got for the price we paid was unbelievable! We have enough food to last us probably a week and it was so cheap for the amount we received! I was not a fan of the taste of my food but their menu is so big I’m sure I can find something that I’ll enjoy more in the future.
Food is consistently good at Black Pearl. Service is iffy. They may just have been short-staffed that day, but last time I went, I was seated quickly, then waited 10-15 minutes before they came back to take my order, a standard lunch special, nothing complicated. Over the next half hour, I watched three tables get seated after me, and all of them got their food before me. I ended up having to leave for an appointment before they got around to making my food. Will probably go again, but I hope they improve their service by then.
Wow, this place was amazing. Brought our son here for his birthday. He wanted to try sushi for the first time. It did not disappoint on the variety and quality of Sushi, also a lot of other Asian dishes available for those who don't like sushi. The staff was also very helpful and friendly.
