Best WLM Reviews

Love Black Drum Brewing. We try to stop here whenever we are in town. BBQ platter is delicious and generous, not to mention affordable. The white pie is to die for. Do not hesitate to try it. The other pizzas are good as well. Extensive beer selection, we always get flights to try. This place is in a kind of hidden location because you have to go to the gated entrance of Kingston Plantation, but you just let them know you are there for the restaurant and they give you a parking tag to go back. Also really good amount of outdoor seating, some areas with fire pits and a pretty overlook of a resort pool and the beach.
Great ambiance and convenient location near our hotel. Views of beach and outdoor optional seating with fire pits. We had a large group. Appetizers were fantastic. Meal itself was a bit of disappointment. Several people wanted prime rib and they were sold out. I ordered black drum fish dish and it was dry. Service was ok. We had to ask multiple times for drinks and had no silverware when served our meals.
Beautiful tap house with ocean views! They don't actually brew their own beers, but they do have over 30 beers on tap, about half local when we went. They also offer beer flights and cocktails. The food offerings are BBQ/burgers/wings and some seafood. I found the prices to be on the pricier side for sure (the BBQ sampler for 2-4 started at $77). But the atmosphere was that of an upscale place, darker walls and mood lighting, and the service was great. Overall would absolutely return!
I absolutely love this place! I pop in at least once a week for lunch. The fried chicken thigh sandwich, the wings, the brisket, even the salads are all amazing. But those pizzas!!! Those are the best. Great beer selection, great service and one heck of a view! Go out of your way to eat and drink here.
Was somewhat disappointed, being long time guests of the Embassy. Atmosphere was okay. The drink I got was so strong as to be undrinkable, the “bacon wrapped shrimp skewers” was actually bland shrimp tucked around a chunk of undercooked pork belly. The pretzel appetizer was very good but very overpriced at $17. The “Roni” pizza was tasty but the pepperoni was burnt. Overall would not recommend unless you are really into microbrews.
Great lunch spot close to our hotel. We could view the ocean from our table. I'm glad they have booth seating available because my hip injury causes me a lot of pain in regular chairs. The staff was nice. Food came out quickly and was tasty. We had pulled pork and pulled chicken bbq sandwiches with cucumber salad and mac n cheese. It's within the Kingston resorts, so we were able to use our daily Hilton resort credits. It's right by the Embassy Suites, so a little walk from Hilton and Royal Palms. There are lots of nice places to relax outside. We will definitely return our next visit ????
Christmas Day dinner was amazing! They serve it family style and we got to have some of everything on the menu. Sadly I only managed to take a few pictures, but it was great! I also loved the flatbread, brisket, turkey, the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. Also pictured the apple cider mimosa. Our server, Alice, did a wonderful job as well!
This place is a home run straight out of the ball park! Staff is wonderful, friendly, and beyond accommodating. The food is on a whole other level. Some of the best BBQ I've ever had! Beautiful surroundings on the water, very romantic!! Highly recommend on your next date night!! Enjoy
