Sue is the best! She has done three for myself my sister and my husband and we just love her and she’s so experienced and professional. The vibe in the parlor is super welcoming and my kids have even come in and hung out without issue.
So I’m just now reviewing, but I got a tattoo of the islands with the word “Ohana” back in December. The only problem is the islands are upside down. This was looked at by multiple people in the shop before actually being tattooed and everyone was saying how good it was going to look, etc. It’s on my back so I was looking in the mirror and for some reason it didn’t click that they were flipped, but I’d think multiple professional IN Hawaii would have said something. Anyway, I’m now ashamed to be walking around with upside down Hawaiian islands. I put 2 stars and not 1 because I could have caught it too, but somehow didn’t. Sucks because the artist was really nice and I really enjoyed my time there.
Levi James Purdy is my tattoo artist and he works out of this shop. Very professional and the shop itself is super cute and in the heart of Chinatown.
Cash only-- but they have an atm machine inside if you forget. Surcharge is $5.

He's the best!
We had an appointment with Sue at 7:00 pm to get matching small hibiscus flowers on our arms. She was stalling all night, fiddling around with music until we felt very unsafe. We felt like she was extremely high on drugs and thought it best we get out of there when she let 4 men walk in and lock the door behind them. We left because we were not feeling safe anymore. Also, she was definetly high on some sort of drug. I would not recommend this place. We almost thought she was stalling us because she wanted us to leave. I have read a few other reviews that have mentioned this type of behavior. I would like to let the owner know about how unsafe we felt. They couldn’t care because she kept the 200 dollar deposit we left.
Andrew is the man! Highly recommended!!! He deserves more than five stars to say the least, great line work, shading and an all around awesome dude!
Awesome shop! Right in Chinatown area so make it a day! Grab food at the restaurants around there after getting inked. Kai is AMAZING!!!!!! Forever grateful for this experience
Great experience at this establishment. Friendly staff and artists. Very skilled at what they do. They are understanding and compromising and very willing to work with their patrons. Would highly recommend this business to all.
I saw Kai Smart for a tattoo and SHE IS AWESOME! I had a design in mind - she spent time stylizing (read, improving) it and 'future proofing' it so it ages well. Her execution was also incredible - the design involved a bunch of very fine straight lines and perfect circles, and each one came out perfect! Go see Kai!
