This restaurant is always full of customers! Excellent breakfast and good service. If you are seated near a n area where staff can put dishes, it does get very loud as they do not set them down gently.
Huge menu! Great food and the amount of food is amazing! Prices are extremely fair for the amount of food you get. My girlfriend and I ate there and paid less than $25! Was my first time there.
Couldn't find the link on maps to check in on Facebook... dug a little deeper and found that it is maybe still listed as Mary's... :(
I stopped here for dinner at 6 pm and the place was packed. I was seated right away, and my server took my drink order. When she came back, I ordered the Country Fried Steak along with American Fries. It was served right away, and it was really nothing to look at, but boy did it taste good. The steak was very tender and flavorful. There was plenty of gravy and the American Fries were perfectly cooked.
Overall, this was a really good meal for the money and the service was quick and efficient, I will stop here again when I am in town.
When Black Bear opened I liked the first few visits but now they have really gone downhill in every area. The host was obviously unhappy and very slow, he just was an unhappy guy. Waitress really tried but had way more tables than she should - I counted 8 in my area alone, she got a big tip from me. I ordered 2 scrambled eggs (moist, not over cooked) bacon, and 2 crepes. The eggs were dry & overcooked, I used my napkin to soak up the grease off the bacon, and the crepes were way too raw. I know crepes - theses were raw and awful. When I brought them to the host to get them removed from my bill he just said "Fine, I don't want your money, you can leave." and threw the dish into the bus tray. Will not be back now with that attitude. Many other places I can go for a much better breakfast.
I would have given 5 stars if the service was better. The food was excellent. Great Ruben and onion rings. My friend ordered banana pancakes and biscuits & gravy. Said it was the best gravy he's had in a while. Also, the turkey wrap was good, too. Great prices as well. Gonna go back to try the milkshakes because they looked amazing.
Tonight me and my daughter went to the Black bear we got moldy tomatoes and didn't catch that right away. She got ????. I ordered a chicken dinner tonight. Chicken was overcooked there was no meat on the chicken it was all gristle and it was all skin no meat on it at all. Green beans were leftovers they were disgusting. Customer service was horrible we waited for the waitress to come back about the salad we wanted to order tea but we couldn't even get her attention. Meanwhile the hostesses that were at the front desk where goofing off eating in front of customers drinking in front of customers using their hands after eating and handling our money and then giving it back to customers. I sat there and watched them horse around for over an hour . Meanwhile I have a dirty water cup can't drink my water either. As I keep my cool dessert tapioca tapioca or rice pudding I couldn't tell you which one it was because it was yellow and disgusting. Remind me being in a nursing home having lunch with my aunt. I didn't pay for this meal tonight due to the hosts asking me how my dinner was I told him it was horrible. There bathroom needs a cleaning look up inch on the air vent . Next time Mary place here I come. I don't mind spending money if it good food. But was horrible. My daughter got totally sick .

We have been here 4 times for breakfast and each time was great. Love the food. Love the service and atmosphere. Place was very busy but the staff did a great job of keeping up with the amount of people there. Will have to try their lunch and supper sometime.
Great diner, excellent service--amazing food! Really love the large variety served all day allowing for everyone to get what they're in the mood for. Plus, they have great specials--and I like that their dinners, including the specials, come with soup/salad, potato (except rice/pasta dishes) and a dessert. Plus everything can easily be packaged to-go, like soup and dessert. Can't say anything against them.
