The diner was a hit. The atmosphere was on point. We enjoyed our breakfast meal, with a special shout out for the chicken sausages... Our server, Roberto, paid close attention to our order and made our dining experience a good one. I give a big thumbs up to this establishment for doing it right.
We were looking for a breakfast option besides Denver Biscuits and decided to try Black Bear. They serve classic American breakfast and lunch dishes. Their portions are huge! I had the veggie omelet, which was delicious and packed with fresh vegetables. My husband had their signature burger and loved it. The staff were all very friendly and the wait wasn't long at all. We will definitely be going back! They also have very reasonable prices, which is a plus.
I was looking at the menu and everything looked so good! Asked the waitress for a recommendation- OMG if love a GREAT taco salad, and have a good appetite- this is it!! So GOOD and the portion size was so big! My husband had the Chicken fried steak- he said it was super delicious!! Their “Huckleberry Iced Tea” is amazing also!! Thanks Black Bear Diner for a wonderful dinner! ❤️
This diner is right next to the McDonald's, so it's very easy to find. We arrived at 6:30 am and waited twenty minutes for our food. I understand it takes longer to receive our food because it's homemade, but there were two other customers there. We ordered the beef hash special, which came with a 6oz steak, two eggs, grits, and one pancake. As well as the Bob's red mill steel cut oatmeal, which came with a side of raisins, crushed pecans, milk, and brown sugar, which was very hard and clumpy. Overall, it's an okay experience.
Finally I was able to stop here to give it a try. It took a little bit for us to be seated. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Both the wife and I ordered the Big Foot Chicken fried steak, and I have to say it was a huge portion. Overall the food was good. Not sure if they were understaffed, but it took a little bit longer to be seated and cashed out.
I had been experiencing a great need for chicken and waffles, except that most places don’t serve it after lunch/brunch. This place to the rescue! I loved the decor of Black Bear Diner. Overall I liked my food, though its only fault was that it did veer on the bland side. It also was a little strange that butter isn’t brought out with pancakes. The hot chocolate was excellent and we had good service, so the overall experience was a good one. ????????
My buddy and I ordered couple of entrées through door dash on May 5th, 2024 at 6:07P.M.. Items were missing, furthermore, I found fingernail sized mold on tomato in my salad. I have been to this place quite often for it's cute interior and good quality food but my opinion dramatically changed after this moldy salad issue.
Love it classic American dinner, the service was really good. I ordered burger it was so good , I felt like it’s missing some flavor. Portion was huge. Overall I had a good experience.
