Food was great. We had a reservation but still had to wait a while for a table which I was confused about! I been here twice before and I love the food but someone should have told us there was a little wait etc. no type of communication. The food was great though. Happy hour is until 7pm but because it too so long to seat us we could not take advantage of Happy hour. I would go back again.
I love BK9. I had the griot and black rice with green plantain. It tasted amazing. I also had the jerk chicken empanadas and some wings that were great as well. I love the music, the dj created a nice atmosphere. Service was great will definitely be back.
Food was outstanding, everything we had was delicious. My favorite was the catfish and grits, so tender & the creole sauce was amazing. Nothing was overly salty and well seasoned. The staff was really attentive, we came in for brunch and will return for sure. Loved the live music
I had a great time here celebrating my aunt's graduation dinner. The ambiance was amazing, The music was a bit loud so it felt more like a club, but it was still good service nonetheless. The service was great as well - our waiter was attentive. Lastly, the food was amazing. I had salad, wings, and the jerk chicken dinner. I will definitely come back here again.
First time here. The food was DELICIOUS! When you don't have to add, no salt, pepper, steak sauce, etc. to food, it's Good. It was seasoned just right, nice size portions, and it was very flavorful. I'm from the south and a caterer, so I know good fresh food when I taste it. Customer service was attentive, and the drinks were strong. The atmosphere was nice, and they played old school chill music that gave a good vibe. Also, black owned, which I love. When I come back to visit, I'll definitely stop by.
I decided to give this place a try after my friend hyped this place up a few times. We’ve known him to have a questionable food palette, and needless to say this will be the final time I take any of his recommendations. I ordered Jerk Chicken, and instead received Jerk Pork. I do not eat pork. The food is way overpriced and you don’t even get the right meat, the worst money I’ve ever spent. Avoid at all costs. I have learned my lesson and will no longer take my friend’s recommendations.

I plan on flying from Florida just for the Ox Tail hash!
We went there for Easter dinner and had a great time. Took my very picky mother and she loved her Salmon. They are very accommodating amd the prices were reasonable for the quality and tastiness of the food. Just be mindful that the drinks can add up really fast as the drink servings are small and pricey.
