Beers were excellent and so was the food! We had a great time. Atmosphere was welcoming and everyone enjoyed the time together.
This is one of the few restaurant in the area where the kitchen stays open late. Service I usually find slower after 2100. It has a good selection of beers, you can build your own sampler, which is nice. They had a problem with keeping the beers stocked for some time it seemed, but it has improved. For a while there when we went, I had to ask first which beers do you not have on tap before ordering. The Tritip sliders are probably the best thing on the menu, in my opinion. They really do have a great appetizer menu and their pizzas are good as well. I haven't tried too many entrees from them, but my wife said her steak was good the one time she ordered.
The service was excellent. The food was great. I only wish I would have not asked for the garlic butter topping. I didn’t realize that my filet mignon would be completely drenched in garlic butter, but I should have asked. I ended up scraping some off. However, the filet was still tasty. We ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. I felt like we got plenty! They were also good. I would go here again. I ended with a Chocolate Chunk Pizookie!!!
BJ’s is one of our staple for a meal out! We love all of their food options! Whether we’re getting a nicer steak and salmon type meal or anything from a burger, sandwich or pizza. It’s never been bad! You also can’t go without trying their Pizookies! It’s probably my favorite dessert out of anywhere! I mean, who doesn’t love a soft, melty cookie with ice cream?!
The atmosphere and service was great but the fish and chips I ordered looked like someone didn’t want it so they put it back in the hot grease as if I wouldn’t notice. ????. I should have taken a picture to show y’all but imagine over frying something that you know at that point you can’t eat. I sent he item back then ordered wings which I can say were pretty decent but I didn’t get the full order and at that point I had just given up and paid for my food, tipped the waiter and left with a smile on my face.
We were a table of 2. Short 10 min wait. The middle section was almost completely empty for the 4 top tables. But we waited for a smaller 2 top? The food was tasty but a bit slow. Staff was polite. We will return.
I was there today and received the worst service. We sat for 20+ minutes to be greeted at our table. I asked to speak with a manager, I was about to leave and go somewhere else. I was told the manager would be right over, yet she never came. I was informed by a server (he was nice) explaining the server for my table was sent home because she wouldn’t take our table. He took my order and said he would eliminate items from our bill, I explained he didn’t have to do that. I would have rather paid the whole bill for better service. I asked for the bill when we got our food because it had been almost an hour and a half before we got our food.. and for them to go ahead and bring out our dessert. I never saw the server again after getting our bill and wasn’t given the dessert. I had to leave and didn’t have time for them to fix anything, not that I could get anyone’s attention to do so. I had been there 2 hours at that point. I would be way more understanding if the restaurant was busy, but it wasn’t. And there was several servers there as well. This isn’t my first encounter of terrible service there. Just frustrating when you promise your kid his favorite dessert and you have to leave because no one wants to help.
The food at BJs was delicious as always, but what truly made this a standout and memorable dining experience was the exceptional service provided by our server, Tara. From the moment we arrived, she had a bright, welcoming smile and greeted us warmly, setting the tone for excellent hospitality. Tara attentiveness throughout the entire meal was second to none. She was incredibly hard-working, checking on us frequently to ensure our drinks were never empty and that we had everything we needed. When I had a question about one of the menu items, she gave a helpful explanation and recommendation tailored to my preferences. What really impressed me was Tata ability to juggle multiple tables or party’s with ease while still making each guest feel like her top priority. Even as the restaurant became busier, she remained patient, friendly, and on top of everything. You could tell she took great pride in providing outstanding service. Our dishes was incredibly delicious but it was truly Tara’s fantastic service that elevated this to a memorable experience. Her dedication to her craft and commitment to ensuring we had an enjoyable evening really shone through. Thanks to servers like her, I'll definitely be returning to BJs again soon. If you get the chance to dine there, I highly recommend requesting to be seated in Tara’s section. Her upbeat personality and focus on hospitality guarantee you won't be disappointed - she's the kind of exceptional server that will have you already looking forward to your next visit before you've even left. She also gave us such a sweet handwritten message at the end with our bill.
