My Salvadorean hubby & i really enjoyed our food from here. The pupusas hit close to home & were fantastic! We got 6 chicharrón y queso pupusas, carne asada, & a quesadilla. The pupusas have lots of filling and the masa isn't too thick & they are big! The carne was tender as well. Good value and great service. The gentleman in the dining room was super accommodating & kind! Will definitely come here for our Salvadorean cravings again!
It's a small joint In a plaza I decided to stop by while passing thru. I will leave an honest review based on the chronological order of my arrival.
When you first drive up to park ... you can't help but notice the amount of trash in front, on the side, and around the trash cans. The front had h 2 almost empty corona bottles, cigarettes, and garbage. The side of the building had trash everywhere and more beer bottles.
Upon entering... the joint is small and it was very busy. No big deal for me. The service was not good and the person taking your order was not inviting and very off putting. Can barely hear them with plexiglass right in front. Don't think that's necessary any more.
The food was OK. I only ordered tacos so this is what my experience was. The carne asada was probably the best taco out of a few I tried. The chorizo was good too. The chicken was extremely over cooked and I couldn't eat those few. Not sure what happened to the el pastor but it was also unedible. The Verde salsa was really good.
Overall I probably wouldn't come back and I would recommend maybe going elsewhere. Which is a shame because it's super authentic.
Awesome little restaurant for pupusas. We all liked the bean and cheese, pork and cheese, and the spinach and cheese. Very reasonable prices. We look forward to returning soon.
The restaurant is busy when we went, wait time not so bad. We order Carne Asada and Alpastor Tacos, they are different than we usualy used to, the Asada is flavorful. The service and staff are great. Overall, the it's worth a try.Delicious food!
Really good food, We got ours to go…took about 15 minutes, burrito, sopes and pupusas. We will come back next time we’re in town.
Took my wife and son today for lunch. Saw the reviews online and a business that took time to reply..which to me means they care. The food and the staff were phenomenal. Extremely fast and wonderful service the entire time. The torta with chorizo is soooo good and the chorizo isn’t overpowering at all. Everything we ordered was delicious and the best part is their salsa verde and rojo can turn any of your dishes into a new experience!!!
Previous reviews were correct. Fresh food at fair prices. I enjoyed my pulled pork burrito $6. Generous lunch portion. Bathroom was recently remodeled. Served quickly. Cashier bilingual.
WOW! This was such a sweet, charming, fast, and of course, delicious restaurant!!???? My crew and I ordered 5 full meals, and they were hot and ready in less than ten minutes.???? The staff was so kind and understanding too.❤️ I would definitely recommend this adorably tasty and scrumptious hidden gem to anyone!???? I would also definitely come back!???? Great job!!????
