An amazing place to watch a game for sure. Neil, the owner, is incredibly nice and always willing to go above and beyond! The beer selection is fantastic and they have other options for those who aren’t too keen. The food is always piping hot and delicious, especially with them having a variety of items on the menu. The atmosphere itself is quiet, quaint, and warm. Everyone that frequents here is super nice and I can’t recommend it enough if you’re around the area. Perfect for game day or a quiet night at the bar.
If you’re in the area do yourself a favor and stop by this place. The food is fantastic, and Neil is great at hospitality. Everything is absolutely delicious so you can’t go wrong with what you choose. It also has many amazing televisions so it is a perfect place to watch sports. Gambrinus = very nice

Amazing selection of hard to find beer. Great European pub style fair and warm atmosphere.
Gambrinus loves up to its name. Easy, friendly pub, and Nael is an absolute gem.
Great European food especially the schnitzel and stroganoff. Beer choices are always great with a majority euro selection including dark and light polish, German, and Belgium beers. I have been going to this place sporadically over the years and am just now reviewing it. Love this spot and hope it stays for years to come.
This was easily one of the best meals I’ve had in San Francisco. The menu isn’t enormous but everything on it is fantastic, and I genuinely mean that.
We got the Hunters Sausage and the Chicken Kabab, and they were both perfect. The sausage was smokey and well cooked, the potatoes were really well seasoned, and the sauerkraut was nice and light. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the roast veggies were simple but, again, perfect.
In short, everything here is really really really good, and to top it of the owner is a great guy. If you’re looking for somewhere to go support right now, this is a really great place and deserves every ounce of support.
