Good service. Lovely patio area. Prices on the high end of moderate. Food only okay. Looks good, but taste is just not there.
The food here is pretty hit or miss. I feel like they should cut their menu in half and really execute well on that. The service can also be pretty slow, although that has improved. Favorite item on the menu is their burger.
Wow, they charged me 3% Labor Surcharge for a to go food and without giving me a notice about it. Also, the lady taking orders is always in a bad mood, she needs more preparation and she needs to look more presentable. I wont be coming back to UTC La Jolla area and now I understand why my co-workers go to the mall for lunch.
Bistro 24 is a medium sized, full kitchen restaurant. Located below one of La Jolla's most striking new office buildings-Irvine Company's La Jolla One. This eatery serves professionals working in two other nearby buildings, making it very busy. The food is high-end with a chef's touch. I had a mouthwatering barbecue chicken wrap the other day that exploded with flavor. I think I noticed beans and cilantro !
Food is great for work lunches. Have beer and will serve bacon all day. How can you go wrong? Great atmosphere and staff is on top of everything
Waited patiently for 33 minutes for my order. When I received it, the receipt said it was completed 20 minutes prior. Somebody just forgot to hand it to me. I may try again, but order online ahead of time. The BLT seemed only so-so.
I had a burger and Mac and cheese, the burger was flavorful veggies on top seemed fresh over all really good the Mac and cheese on the other hand was awful and flavorless. Staff was nice and validated my park all in all looks like a nice place
Really good food and fun atmosphere, despite being in an office building. A little pricey for lunch, but ovall very good.
