I wholeheartedly recommend going to Bisson Repair for any issues you may be having with your car over ANY other place within a 15-mile radius. Here’s the experience I had.
I had an issue with my engine cylinders misfiring and went to countless shops in the Williamstown and North Adams area. Some places changed out parts unnecessarily; others recommended I go to the dealer; and others performed “repairs” on the car that frankly led nowhere - I was stuck with this issue for nearly four months.
Then, I went to Bisson Repair, where Alonzo quickly diagnosed the issue, moving a potential faulty part from cylinder to cylinder to verify that it was indeed the problem before proceeding with the replacement - and charged a fair price by any metric. Sure enough, it was, and my car no longer has this issue anymore.
The thing I most appreciated, too, was the fact that I didn’t have a ride back home, so Alonzo offered to drive me the way and pick me back up when the car was fixed - a real act of kindness. Not only that, but he and his team are also extremely knowledgeable, reliable, trustworthy, and simply know how to solve the problem. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else; just go to Bisson Repair. Seriously.

Alonzo and his staff are talented and committed to great customer service. I have used Alonzo to service / repair vehicles for years. He is the best mechanic that I have ever used. I have recommended him to everyone I know. He finds economical solutions to repairs that a dealership will over charge you for.
Bisson's was recommended to me by someone I trust, a longtime service advisor at a big Albany dealership, and they exceeded expectations. Alonzo is so mellow and laid back, and got the work done faster than I'd hoped while charging less than you'd ever expect. I had a number of things done, but I think they charged $14 to remove the heat shield I'd partially ripped off on a dirt road. The only reason they don't have a line out the door yet is because word hasn't got out yet.
The only place that you should consider taking your vehicle. I cannot be happier making this my go to auto repair.
