We have been to Billy's many times while on vacation. This is the only place we will get our seafood from. We are from Ohio and decided to order and have it shipped. It was very easy and Wilma was very helpful with the order process. The price to have it shipped is a very decent price. The shrimp arrived well packed and still fresh. We will definitely be using Billy's again to order more seafood.
Went for the first time today and just finished dinner … this was the absolute BEST shrimp I’ve ever had! On top of great quality and fair prices the staff and service were super helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!!
Beware of the people and seafood from this place. The seafood is not fresh. We bought fish, shrimp and crabs. None of them are fresh and none of them are just even around 24 hours old. They are at least days old and taste terrible! But we were told they were very fresh. They are just a bunch of liars! Beware!
Ordered 30 lbs shrimp. Delivered on time and still frozen. Excellent service and delicious seafood. Highly recommend.We always visit when in town but your shipping option is great when I can’t get there.
The absolute best, shucked, raw oysters, I've ever eaten! They put the container on ice and were perfectly chilled and delicious. Highly recommend!..Bought more raw oysters yesterday..Still great quality..Tried them with hot sauce, lemon, on soda crackers..Today I decided to bake some in a muffin tin at 400* and finnished with the broiler. Place butter in each, add oyster, minced garlic, top with plain bread crumbs and more butter. Bake..and turn on broiler at the end ..add more bread crumbs..let them get bubbly and golden brown. Don't let them burn..Approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
As a northerner, I was blown away by the freshness of the seafood at this rural fish market. The selection was impressive and the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and offered great advice on how to cook the fish. Overall, a fantastic experience.
My parents have been coming here for a few years so a group of about 10 of us went and picked up an early dinner. We bought 6 lbs of shrimp and about 30 crabs. They steamed them for us with Old Bay seasoning while we waited. It was delicious! You can of course cook it yourself and they have plenty of seafood options. The kids thought it was neat seeing all the fresh fish and shrimp too.

As snowbirds visiting the area for the first time we wanted to see Billy's Seafood for ourselves. We stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon and we were pleasantly surprised at the number of fellow snowbirds that pulled in with us.
The market is small and you are treated like family by the employees. The pungent smell of fresh caught seafood hits your as soon as you step in the door. Your first view is a wide selection of shrimp. From head-on Royal Reds to small salad size that have already had the heads removed. You can also find oysters, shrimp salad, a full line of seasonings and so much more. As for fish, they had fresh off the boat Flounder, Red Snapper and others.
In our opinion, their pricing is terrific. Royal Reds were only $7.49 lb and XX Large shrimp were $12.99 lb. They will cook the shrimp for only a $1.00 per pound, either using a plan water method or your choice of seasonings. Plus they put them on ice to cool them down and then double bag them for the trip home. Who could ask for more?!?!? Well, you can get more by having them ship your favorite seafood via next day delivery across the U.S.
While we waited for the shrimp to cook, we were entertained by one of the workers who is part of Billy's family with tales of travel and fishing in the area. He had also travel to Costa Rica and on some incredible trips.
If you want great seafood at reasonable prices and you like supporting a family owned business, then this is an easy destination for you.
