Dani is the most awesome person ever
Nice bar and beer garden for on site imbibing and excellent off site sale liquor shop. If you want any specific or specialty drinks for your vacation or cabin, call ahead and they can order just about anything you want.
Finally, be sure to say hi to the owner, Dar. She is lovely and a gracious proprietor who is genuinely dedicated to her customers.
Love this place and can’t wait to visit again next summer.
I could probably right a novel on all the experiences I have had at this Bar, I have to admit I am a little bias, I used to Day time Bartend here. Then, more often than not i would get off work and join in on the fun. The food is good, the beer is always cold. You can sit inside or there is a patio area in the back. Karaoke every other weekend. Meat Raffles every Saturday after noon. Darts, Horseshoes, and Bean bag throwing Leagues, But if you wanna jump in and play too, the answer is always the more the merrier. Not to mention all the shenanigans' Deer Season and Rodeo weekend can bring about. Also some Live music here and there. Couldn't ask for a better place to hang out, nor better people to be around. I hate to quote a country song, normally not my style, but "I love this Bar".
Stopped in to check it out brother was bartender back when it was the picaroon saloon told me to check it out great place for a drink and some good quick food.
Went in last night and could not get served. Waitress passed right by by us. I had to wave at the bartender to get a menu and she said "we didn't see you come in". What a crock - we were right in front of the bar. It looked like there were 3 people "working" behind the bar, but no one acknowledged us. Lots of drunks in the bar at 5:30 p.m. I guess if you are not a local drunk, you don't get served.
We left. Went to the Pizza Parlor - friendly, great meal.
Will never go back.
We stopped in for lunch while snowmobiling. I asked for anything warm for my wife and they told me to go across the street to get a coffee. They don't have a grill so if it's not deep fried it's microwaved (burgers).
Best little bar iv ever been in great service and absolutely wonderful people definitely gonna visit again
