**New Management** - the former restaurant (Mi Yard is closed, new name/ownership Big Yard). First visit and truly a welcoming family owned business. I came on a weekday for a late lunch early dinner. I ordered the Oxtail teaser and it was the perfect size and portion for one. (Note : the Oxtail Teaser is perfectly priced at $10 and available all day). Oxtail teaser includes rice (white or rice/peas, two oxtails, cabbage and plantain). I also ordered the vanilla rum cake cup. My meal came up to less than $20. Even with these small portions, I had leftovers to take home. Everything was seasoned well, authentic and very tasty. Pleasant customer service which is not always common in this area. The space is also available for hosting small - midsize groups and an event planner is on staff to assist with organizing. Dessert selections are made in house and catering options are available (see biz card attached). I will return and bring friends and family. Keep up the great work and much success in your new business endeavors.
They were so accommodating. They literally made me a meal that was not on the menu to accommodate my pescatarian diet. And the service was top tier! The portion was HEFTY. I will definitely be back.

I met the owner in the nail salon she was so sweet and full of gods grace and because of his grace and mercy god allowed me to meet her to share her amazing dishes with me I told her I would go and I walked in to a clean restaurant nice clean Jamaican music great customer service the prices are reasonable I ordered a lot of things n I was able to sample there red bean soup omg so good just the spirit alone and the atmosphere when u walk in will keep you coming back listen I pray for nothing but success for this family business and looking forward to trying much more dishes I’m happy i followed my heart and supported your restaurant I will definitely be back you guys will do great it’s your winning season amen
Very clean, staff friendly. I ordered the small curry chicken on white rice with Ginger drink. ???????????????????? Come to Miami for work an this is a must have. Blessings to them. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed
My friends and loved it, it was our first time there. The service was amazing they gave us samples of their rum cake 10/10. If you don’t like Caribbean food I promise you this place will change your mind.
I have been eating from the “new owners”since before they took over the restaurant, the food is cooked with love, the atmosphere and environment is very warm and welcoming. The food is delicious. Highly recommended! There is a baker on hand as well, she has made serval cakes for my children birthday, she is amazing! #cafeannas
This is my first time eating from Big Yard Restaurant. The food was catered for a business training. I had the Brown Stew Chicken meal. I was full of flavor, the right amount of pepper, and all the flavors complimented each other. I was very pleased with my meal. Thank you.
