Absolutely great place for a quick and super tasty meal. As the name implies, potatoes are the thing, and they come in so many ways. We had the lobster potato and the bacon cheddar potato. Both amazing! Potato was creamy and the toppings nicely done. Not from here, but plan on stopping by whenever we are there!
So glad we stopped here for lunch. The menu was awesome with every kind of potato toppings imaginable. Sandwiches and salads and yummy desserts also on menu. I got the turkey bacon cheddar potato. It was huge and so tasty! Fast friendly service and dining area very clean. Will be back on my next car trip.
Amazing find just off the interstate Don’t be fooled by the location. It’s made fresh with amazing potatoes and the sandwiches are great too.
We stopped by to try it out for the first time over the weekend-my husband and I both felt our visit left a lot to be desired. The counter staff was not overly friendly and seemed bothered we didn’t know exactly what we wanted although we explained it was our first visit there. We ordered a kids meal(an uncrustable that had been microwaved) for our child and quickly found out they had no kids drinks to go along with it which was extremely disappointing. My husband ordered a bbq potato and was disappointed by the size and quantity of pork for the price- McAllister’s or Jim N Nicks portions are much better for the price. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with bacon only to find out the sandwich is relative in size to the kids uncrustable, only served with a bag of chips and the bacon that was added was actually bacon bits for $1.50. I also asked for a water cup but was told the soda fountain did not have water, forcing us to purchase a bottle of water or fountain drink. All in all we were disappointed with our visit and now probably won’t visit our local BPC.
Great baked potato, we stopped on the way up on the trip and again on the way home. Oh yeah forgot if you eat pimento cheese make sure you get some with the crackers ( my Mom said it was the best she had ever had! ) So if Mom said you should try it, try it!
Stopped in while passing through. Chicken salad sandwich was pretty nice. Came with some Miss Vickie’s chips and a small sugar cookie. The only downside was the fact that I asked for a cup of water with my lunch and was told the only option was to buy a bottle of water.
My family and I stopped here awhile ago on the way back from Foley. The food was delicious and there was something for everyone including the cheesecake on a stick. We will definitely go back again
If you are looking for something different, give the BIG Potato Company a try. What a unique idea. We saw the billboard while driving South. It sounded good and different than fast food.
The baked potatoes were large and cooked perfectly. They cut them wide open, creating a large surface for a large assortment of toppings.
We had a great lunch for about $10 per person.
