Nice quiet spot, customer device was well. Very informative on different options. Subs were decent, I personally felt that they needed more meat and needed more seasoning. Saw more lettuce than meat. But it was okay. For sure the fries were addictive! Really good..so good I forgot to take a picture of the fire, I definitely recommend. 4/5 in my opinion..I’ve had better subs.
Regular with provolone and tomatoes side of fries and a soda $16.02 before any gratuity.
Cubed tomatoes like I'd expect on a taco. Odd but OK.
I'm going to add pictures so you can see. Let's discuss why you thought these French fried left overs were OK to serve after I paid 4 bucks for them. I'd understand if they were included but they are Ala carte as the entire menu is.
The steak was excellent and the bun was as expected. Sliced tomatoes would seem a better choice on a sandwich not cubes.
The place stays busy and the staff clearly cares about their jobs. When the owner passed by and inquired as to my food I expressed my concerns about why I was served fry skimming and he replaced them, only for the cashier to pass behind him and clear away my sauces leaving me needing to ask for them again.
Overall the food was eventually correct but those fries cost you a star because like it or not the owner was in the kitchen and they were sent out to me. Makes me think if it had been a take out order, I would have paid for something I wouldn't eat.
We visited for the first time Memoral Day. I saw a commercial. and I had to try the Chicago hotdogs. It was delicious but no sport peppers ????. Plus, they turned off the ice cream machines, so no shakes ????. Otherwise, it's very good. We will be back. ????
Best cheesesteaks South of Philly! I tell everyone about this place. The staff is super friendly and goes out of their way to take care of their customers. My new go to place in Gainesville. Try it, you won't regret it!
I’m sorry I don’t have a photo of my meal, I literally inhaled it.
I got the fake steak and it’s made out of soy curls and it’s incredible. I am pretty sure it can be made vegan if you don’t get cheese on it. My partner got the regular cheesesteak and mozz sticks and they were fantastic. Friendly service, amazing food. I am sad we don’t live closer although perhaps that’s better for our bank accounts ????

Good food, cozy atmosphere! Definitely give it a try if you’re in Gainesville Florida! I tried to Patty melt, and it was pretty good!
The portion size was great, the steak itself lacks seasoning. My son also had a steak Philly and he agreed it lacked seasoning
My wife had the fake stake loaded fries. The portion size was great but the meat taste old and undercooked.
We were in the restaurant about 45 minutes and Big Mills was very steady. This was our first time eating at Big Mills and it could have been a one off.
The staff was awesome very attentive. Big Mill was present but busy with some friends at a corner table.
Food was amazing! Definitely a spot for any snow birds to come check out. Especially if you can't get that itch. So kind and helpful! The stake wasn't fat was good amount and the peppers were fresh and kicking. Really nice place to go sit down eat and relax with someone. Tables were really clean. Handed out the meal right to are table asked if we needed anything else perfect! Definitely a new customer!
