Big Mama's burritos. The first time I had it was 10 years ago and this time was the first time I have had it sober and it was just as incredible as I remember. The Q mama was my go to in the past so I had my wife try it for her first experience and I decided to try something new, the ultimama which was every meat they offer in one burrito. It was extremely delicious but will be getting the Q next time I return! Shout out to the employee for hooking us up with stickers!
Definitely a go to. Always delicious! The staff there is so friendly. One time we did an online order when they had closed early..when we went in to tell them the problem a couple of weeks later the guy called his boss and without hesitation he gave us our order and threw in cheese and chips. Very nice.
First time trying. Burrito, not bad, but not phenomenal. Got steak and chicken, got thin beef and shredded soggy chicken. Not what I expected for a $20 Burrito. Queso, fair, chips were bagged tostitos, not fresh chips, again not worth the $5. Will I try it again? Maybe...
The burrito was 70% rice. This didn’t ruin the burrito but it certainly overpowered everything in it. The burrito options were varied and fun, not a lot in terms of Tex mex - more like drunk college kid burritos. Think Buffalo chicken/Philly steak type options. The churro bites were very greasy but delicious. The burritos are very filling and more than enough to call it a “meal.”
My daughter and I were in town doing a campus visit. We needed to eat lunch and this place caught our eyes. It's in an old building downtown, right off campus, surrounded by other restaurants and businesses. We walked in around 12:25 pm on a Friday and no one was there. Was concerned at that point, but I'm glad we stayed. Burritos are very good. We both had the chicken ranch burritos--the employee recommended it, and she was right! The chips are prepackaged Mission brand tortilla chips--would have liked to have chips made in house (deducted 1 star because of that). I had the mild salsa, and my daughter had the queso. Both were very good. Not much for seating there--just stools along the wall with a shallow shelf to set your food on. Restaurant was decorated simply but nicely. Thought the food was a little pricey, but given everything has gone up in price lately, maybe that's the new norm. My daughter intends to attend OU, so I'm sure we'll be back!
Honestly it's hard to go wrong with a burrito, I ordered the vegan chorizo burrito which was amazing however I cut it in half and one side was mostly rice and the other half had all the flavor. Overall it was a nice blend of flavor and savory filling goodness, thanks!
Never open when I go. Says they open at 11, but I have yet to see them accomplish that. It's 11:30 and nobody is there. No communication as to why either.
Large portions and excellent flavors! They delivered to our hotel with beverages. All 4 of us were full and happy
