Super friendly and great service. Plenty of 4 person tables, but i was the only one in there when i went. And they do not skimp on the roast beef! It felt like it was 2lbs... I got the French dip with pepper jack cheese. The sandwich was great but I wasn't in love with the au jus dip. It's definitely fresh made in house but it was thicker and more flavorful than what I'm used to. I'll probably go back tomorrow and try the gyro. Or the shawarma. Or maybe both!
One of the biggest sandwiches I ever had!! (See pic) the roast beef and pastrami are made at restaurant so you know it’s fresh! Delicious and for sure I will come back to try more.
Mouth watering Beef French Dip Sandwiches are the absolute best!
The sandwiches are thick, tender, and delicious. I tried the French Dip which comes with a a side of gravy for dipping. Just wow. Sandwiches are about $13, sides about $3. You will be glad you tried this deli!
Everything is really good here! I started working in the area a few months ago and I come here often for lunch and the owners are very nice and the food is amazing. You get generous portions as well. A hidden gem in an otherwise fast food heavy location.
I cannot believe I am just now finding out about Big H Deli! Tucked away is this amazing place where food is elevated to art.
I had the pleasure of meeting Ed and his staff tonight and they are the nicest people. The cashier was a very nice lady who took great care of us.
We ordered 2 spicy chicken schwarma wraps with the works. I was also treated to some of the cucumber and tomato salad and a sample of the amazing roast beef and to top it off a baklava. I have never had chicken that was so fresh and so flavorful. The wrap included tomatoes, lettuce, onion and cucumber in a sauce that kept getting better with each bite.
This is now going to be my go-to place for delicious and fresh food. I noticed that most people that were coming in are regulars...good thing my buddy Etienne told me about this place because I am now gonna be a regular.
You have got to try the food here...you won't be sorry. The sample of the roast beef was so tender and the sauce they put on it reminded me of my grandmother's slow roasted roast beef with gravy. These folks make food with love and you can taste the difference. 10 stars if I could!!!
My go-to place for spicy chicken shawarma wraps. Yummy and reliable. Sometimes gets busy so call and order 15 minutes ahead for reliably quick service.
I order sandwiches to pack for the park. Big mistake my sandwich was wet (bread) from the drenching pickles, lettuce, tomato or the slap of heavy mayo!!! It was only 20 mins to the park. The extra charge for cheese is $ 0.75 which is so thin not worth it go to Safeway and buy a package of cheese. If u want to try this place out and want the sandwich to go Please get the bread by itself, and if you want to eat the sandwich there and dont like that much mayo go light. The 2 stars is for the quantity of meat in sandwich. Sorry not coming back.
Mountains of meat between fresh bread, loaded with sides and condiments…what more could you ask for in a sandwich. IMHO, sandwiches are their own food group: handhold casseroles bringing delight to the culinary soul. And here at Big H Deli, I’ve found some kind of sandwich heaven. We ordered a chicken shawarma wrap, gyro combo and roast beef sandwich. “Fabulous!” is the word that comes to mind! Don’t drive by this unassuming strip mall without giving their sandwiches a try! You’ll be glad you did!!!
