Best WLM Reviews
So glad that we stopped and ate at this place! By far one of the best small-town feeling buffets we’ve ever eaten at! Everything we ate was cooked and seasoned to perfection and the staff provided exceptional customer-service! We will definitely be giving Big Eds another visit in our travels ????
The salad bar was good. The catfish nuggets and chicken livers were fantastic! The potato/hash brown casserole was a huge disappointment, I'm not sure what cheese sauce was used, but it ruined that casserole. That being said, the service was great, and the sweet tea was delicious.
Family oriented, great food options, very neat and clean. Great customer service. The food was delicious and seasoned very well. Would definitely eat here again. Will definitely let all my friends and relatives in my hometown know about this restaurant ????
Dressing had too much sage. Our seats were terrible, just a view of nasty dirty dishes. Servers weren't very friendly. it isn't worth 17.99 with just one buffet bar. Dessert just sit out to get breathed over. Definitely seen better days. Needs an upgrade
I ate here with my mom midday a few weeks ago. Food was really good. Nice selection. Good seasoning. They had a standard “southern spread” with a lot of fried or heavy foods. Salad bar was nothing to write home about but you don’t go to a place like Big Ed’s for the salad. Banana pudding was good too. We’ll definitely go again.
Homestyle heaven! Visiting family, from Nashville and wanted some good old fashioned home cooking and this place knocked it out of the park! Chicken and dressing, catfish, fried chicken, greens, cabbage, carrots, Mac, mash potatoes, fresh salad bar, and desserts all over the place. Service unbelievable! All the ladies made you feel at home. Wanted for nothing! Whether you live in P-town or you’re just visiting…you have to go. Can’t wait to go back. ????????????????????????????????
I have passed this place a million times & never stopped in. Decided to stop in one day. It was a slow day for em so, that was good for us(it is a buffet). My time there I noticed....The place was dated. The buffet was smaller than I expected. For such a big building vs how small the buffet was, was a surprise to me. But the food on the buffet was freaking amazing. Home cooked style buffet. I was stuffed when I left. The dozens of cakes, pies & cobblers did me in. The atmosphere was nice & old. I would recommend going at least once. If your older, maybe more. It just seems like that's where the older generation go for a good meal. I didn't ever go bc it's next to "the hood" but I think I'll stop in again sometime.
Wanted a nice, home-cooked meal. Food was seasoned perfectly and so delicious. Service was excellent. Will definitely be back.
