Big Daddy's in Tonto Basin is nothing fancy to look at inside or out. Their ???? Pizza, is a different story it is EXTRAORDINARY!!!
We ordered a 16" large pepperoni and onion. This pizza is a deep dish sort of like a sandwich the pepperoni and onion are underneath the cheese, on a thick delicious bed of dough. You have to try it to really appreciate the goodness.

Best pizza we have ever had. We have been coming to get pizza from here for over 10 years!!! Worth the drive
Small local eatery which we chose as there were no other options. Pizza was dang good. I had Chile Verde Burrito with a generous helping of their home made hot sauce which was delicious. The staff were excellent and friendly and I highly recommend this place if you're visiting the Tonto National Monument.
I LOVE this place have been going for years. Was down visiting from Oregon and drove up to Tonto Basin just for the pizza. Just note it is cash only.

Great pizza, quite heavy... as a combination of a deep dish cross with a hand tossed crust. There are plenty of toppings!!!
COLD beer. (I saw the bud light commercial and will never buy another A/B product again).
Service was a friendly local kid trying his best to handle the rush of me being the second table of the evening... he succeeded.

Came here twice the first time they served beer that was extremely expired horrible tasting ruined the whole meal the second time I went tried to call multiple times never answered the phone so I drove down there just curious I asked what the phone number was and shock it was the number I was calling but quote the customers here are more important than a phone call interesting considering I am a customer as well also there was only one table that was already eating just simply didn’t want to work is what it felt like sucks because was really excited for this place

Pizzas are fantastic!!! I'm going back! Good prices on pies and beer. Just wish they had a TV so we could watch games when we are.
