I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Big Cypress Landing in Clewiston, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish.
This hidden gem truly exceeded my expectations in every way. From the museum feel of the gift shop to the surprise eat-in restaurant, my kids had plenty of choices. The gift shop is full of unique and handmade items: from clothing to jewelry to bows and arrows! There's something cool and exciting for everyone. At the restaurant there are many kid friendly options at great prices. I attached the menu.
We loved the burgers, onion rings, and breakfast items. ???? They also have a large selection of ice cream and Popsicles if you need to cool off.
???????? For those who prefer to dine outdoors, the Big Cypress Landing has you covered. They boast an abundance of park-style, shaded picnic tables on both sides of the store, allowing customers to enjoy their meals in a peaceful and pleasant environment. It's the perfect spot to relax and take a break during your journey. ????

Good food , good attention, great atmosphere
Love Sadie's! Been popping in here since I was a little girl when it was a little wooden house. Burgers are AMAZING! Staff is friendly and helpful, entire grounds and inside store are clean and beautifully kept. Great spot to come and get a bite to eat before heading out back on the Alley and get yourself some authentic Seminole Indian gifts in the gift store. Nice little picnic spot underneath the chickee out front.
The star of the show here is the gift shop! Amazing hand made Seminole skirts, beaded items and shirts and gorgeous southwestern silver and turquoise Zuni and Navajo jewelry for sale and on display! Amazing . Good food too and clean bathrooms!
We were checking this place out, will likely stay in one of the air conditioned cabins.
I will be honest with you: when you look at this place outside, it doesn’t really catch your attention. Be with me. Don’t stop reading, please. When you enter this place, hmm…you have almost the same sensation. You even doubt to eat there or not because it really looks like a mini supermarket and that’s all. Now, when you see the cook preparing those out of this world Bacon Cheese hamburgers, Philly Steak & Cheese sub, and/or Grilled Chicken breast sub, you ENTIRE perspective changes 180 degrees, especially, on your first bite. Unbelievably delicious and organic. The meat tasted like meat, the chicken same thing! Chicken with own flavor? Yes, that’s right. Wow!! ????????????????????????????????????????????????
