What an awesome place run by awesome people. They were out of an item that i ordered on Uber eats and in addition to refunding the item and replacing it with another item, they also gave me a free banana pudding.
Not the mention the meal was out of this world. As someone that’s lived in Texas and had Memphis, KC and NC BBQ, this place absolutely holds up to the test. You won’t find better BBQ in Florida. I’ll be ordering from here plenty more
The chopped beef was a pot roast with no seasoning. The sauce was too sweet and tasted like it was fruit flavored. The meat was cooked well for the chicken and ribs, but the seasoning was not bold enough. The service was good, and the restaurant has a different vibe.
Seriously best BBQ in St. Pete. Got the chopped chicken and the ribs and I have not stopped thinking about both since. Bbq sauce is banging and the collard greens, baked beans, and Mac n cheese were awesome. Can’t wait to go back
Stopped here after visit at Salvador Dali museum. Monster tender pork sandwich with beans and the BEST collard greens I have ever had. The beautiful lady that took our order is part of the family there, kind and considerate. She took the time to direct us to closest place by the water to get our grub on. The young man preparing our food was pretty cool too. Grateful we stopped!
The chicken is delicious- especially the smoke taste it has. Unfortunately, the ribs don’t have the smoke taste- but they’re still good. Looove the mac n cheese, baked beans, and yams. The barbecue sauce is so good!! Finally found a go to barbecue place!!
Food I do have to say is delicious…. Atmosphere not bad but needs more parking, only three parking spaces. Service wasn’t terrible, they were very polite the only thing is that they forgot to give me one of the main things that made my order, which I paid for. I spent over $55 all together.They were not busy I was the only one there so it wasn’t like they were slammed with customers, if so then I would understand but that wasn’t the case. I do take some responsibility because I should have checked my bag but I didn’t notice until I got back home which is about 1hour away. I guess that’s why I was so angry because a drove that far because I heard good things about them. So all in all would I give them another try? Yes I will it’s not that serious but they do need to check the orders a little better than they do and if they don’t have an item then just say so, don’t try to cover it up like it seemed they did when I opened my container.
Walking by the storefront, we were hit by the smoky smell of bbq. Not hungry at the time but intrigued by the aroma, we decided to check out the offerings. We ordered the rib tips on bread and a chopped beef sandwich.
The rib tips were fall off the bone tender and had a wonderful bbq sauce (which is available for purchase). This $12 offering would easily be $30-$40 in a larger metropolitan establishment. The chopped beef sandwich was overloaded with meat and sauce, and flavour!
This will be my go to bbq place on any future visit to the St Pete are.
Went there tonight looking for Southern BBQ and omg. The best mac n cheese I've ever had. The collards were amazing as well. Chicken and ribs were great. Even got some banana pudding and paid maybe $25 total. Will definitely be going back.
